"Can't wait to come back and try brunch. Loved the food presentation and combos within one plate. The table shared the plantain gnocchi special. 1 person at the table does not like plantains, however she did love the sauce and collard greens placed beneath the gnocchi, as did the rest of the table. I had the falafel encrusted salmon special placed on jalepeno grits and bok choy which were AMAZING... esp because I hate grits.. and my friend couldn't stop eating them after she was finished with her Pepe soup. I tried the soup and it was too much heat for me, but the other two loved it! The other meal was Senegalase Fried chicken, the restaurant's signature dish. This was his second time ordering it since he enjoyed it so much the first time."

"Always delicious and always a great atmosphere. The chef even came out this time to chat with folks, and it was nice to be able to tell him how much we'd enjoyed the meal. The steak is always great, and their signature Senegalese Fried Chicken with the rice ball and collard greens is wonderful. This place was recommended by a friend, and we've been going regularly ever since...and recommending it to everyone else in the neighborhood!"

"My boyfriend and i went there after the 100s of recommendations that he and i had been getting. We couldn't have been happier with everything. The food was amazing, the drinks were great and the place had a great chill vibe without being boring. We will definitely be back."

"I have eaten here before and the food and ambiance are both fine on a quiet night however the service on 2/14 was not acceptable. After being seated without menus, utensils or water, we were visited once by an (understandably)scatter-minded waiter who said he would be right back with water. After waiting roughly 30 more minutes (an hour in total from being seated) we decided to leave."
