"We had Daniel and Maria as waitstaff for our dinner. They were the upmost attentive to everything. The Food was great, I would recommend Macadamia Nut encrusted Grouper, so delicious!!! Such a great experience right on the beach. You leave your shoes and walk barefoot onto the sand. Very romantic. The definitely go the extra mile to make sure you feel special."

"If you are looking for a romantic setting to enjoy dinner on the beach, this is your place! Located at the Marriott Resort, Simply Fish is outdoor dining at its best! The tables are set up looking out onto the ocean. Sunset is the best time to go. The menu is predominantly fresh fish - you choose the preparation method and the sides. Food was quite good. Service was excellent - very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was amazing. Prices are comparable to NYC prices. It's a great place. Don't miss it."

"The service and food were both outstanding and the ambience at sunset on the beach cannot be beat. It was a special occasion for us and the maitre de' went out of his way to show extra attention to us by having rose petals on the tablecloth, with the musician seranading us at our table and the chef coming out to see how our food was prepared. It could not have been better!"

"This restaurant is so romantic. I loved it! The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable! The coconut rice was excellent! my salmon was also incredible! My boyfriend and I were so pleased with the ambience. It was so relaxing, especially with the light background music. The customer service was excellent. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! "I could not imagine a more beautiful setting, sitting at elegant tables on the beach with the tiki torches glowing after the sunset. . We were encouraged to remove our sandals and were so happy we did, as it added so much to the ambiance. The beautiful Aruba weather, superb service, and excellent yet simple preparation of our meals created not just a wonderful meal but a beautiful memory for our family.
The only negative aspect was on that evening there were conflicting sounds of music coming from two nearby weddings so our musician raised his volume to compensate. This was unusual as we have visited other times when the quiet music was totally relaxing.
We shall definitely visit Simply Fish again when we return to Aruba."

"Simply Fish was simply wonderful beginning with the glorious sunset to the superb food. The ceviche mussel amuse bouche arrived and was a delicious tease to our taste buds. Next the macadamia encrusted grouper was perfectly cooked. Following our entree was a delectable palette cleanser, a lime sorbet. We ended our memorable meal with a creamy coconut creme brûlée.

"This is a great place to go and put your feet in the sand and enjoy a romatic water front dinner. There is nice music playing and the sound of the ocean is very relaxing. The atmosphere is fantastic.
Our waiter was less than fantastic. We were unable to get a wine list until half way through our meal. I wonder if the Marriott was understaffed that night? He did have an assistant waiter "Maria" who made up for all of his service flaws by making herself available.
I would recommend this restaurant for a romantic, water side evening. Be clear with the wait staff on what you'll need to get started. Do not let them leave without placing your drink / appetiser order up front or you may be waiting a while."

"This is an experience you should enjoy if you're in the High Rise Hotel area of Aruba. Dining right on the beach with very good food and service. "My husband and I visited Simply Fish on 3/27 to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We chose the restaurant because of the menu and the romantic location. While the views were beautiful, the setting was not at all romantic. It is a small pop-up restaurant space on the beach of the Marriott hotel. We were seated not far from a large party who had several small children who believed they were at the beach to play. And there were children who were running up from the beach to cut through to the hotel. And the food was nothing more than average hotel-restaurant food. We ordered a roasted chicken that was instead deep fried chicken. We ordered surf & turf with inedible steak. NET: eat in town instead."

"The tables are literally on the beach! The service was slow but not tragically slow. The fish was fresh and well prepared, however, was cold upon arrival which was the case wiith two of the three meals served. The food was taken back and reheated, however, when they were returned the sides were missing on one of the meals.
The wine list was lacking, and, advertised vintages that were not served. The red wine was warm.
The sides were bland and institutional."

"One of our favorite spots in Aruba. Would go back every time we visit. Food was excellent, better than some of the more popular restaurants on the island, and the view, setting and service was great. A must visit restaurant in Aruba."

"Food took forever to be served (1.5 hr) and when it was served it was average. Seared tuna was overlooked and warm. Chicken was bland.
Sitting on the beach was relaxing for the first hour but became annoying...."

"This was our 3rd trip to Aruba and 3rd time dining at Simply Fish. We LOVE it! Beautiful view, delicious food, elegant barefoot dining on the beach - what could be better! Highly recommend Arubian Triangle and Macadamia Crusted Grouper - delicious!!! Simply Fish is simply amazing."

"Simply Fish was wonderful, but unfortunately, it was extremely windy the night we dined, which meant painful sand whipping in our faces throughout the meal. Our servers were really sweet and attentive, and the food was good. Too bad the wind did not cooperate!"

"Overall a great experience, we went on Valentine's night and had a great time. My boyfriend had the surf and turf which was very tasty and I had the lobster, grouper and swordfish dish. The grouper, as other reviews have stated, was amazing! The swordfish was a little dry and tough, however. Service was fabulous and ambiance was great! highly recommend!"
