All the pastas are made in house in a traditional old world fashion. The Italian wine list features 30 wines under 30 dollars. "My wife and I are always trying new restaurants and found DC pasta on open table. We were seated as soon as we arrived and brought water right away. After trying to read the complicated menu, we placed our order for our drink, appetizer, salad, and dinner. Our appetizer and salad were brought both at the same time. Less than 5 minutes later, the main course was brought to the table. We ended up sending our half eaten salads and one of our appetizers back to make to make room for our meals. Other than that, the food was awesome!"

"Again we had a wonderful meal at DC Pasta. Of special note were the marinated items on the menu. The marinated artichokes were outstanding. The Pappardella all Bolognese was superb. Our server was delightful. He was knowledgeable about both the dinner menu and the wine list. He helped us make an excellent choice among several available pinot noirs."

"Diners are offered a choice of three portion sizes for many pasta dishes, ranging from a taste to a plate (the restaurant has more creative names for the serving sizes). It's great to make a meal of a couple of the smaller sizes.
Service is a little amateurish, but enthusiastic."

"My husband took me out for an early Mother's Day dinner and I am so glad we chose here! The service was great. My husbad, daughter, and I shared 6 tasters and a couple of meatballs and it was just right! We will definitly be back."

"First of all, we couldn't find it because it is tucked away at the end of a stip. The hostess greeted us warmly even though we were ten minutes late due to unforeseen traffic problems. Our waitress appeared and took our drink orders but then disappeared. When she finally returned, we placed an appetizer order. This took at least ten minutes to get which suprised us since the restaurant was only half full. We were told the specials and ordered. After the meal was presented, our waitress did not come back again until our plates were empty. I think the food is very good but the service needs a few touches. I may give it one more chance."

"We can always count on DC Pasta for a great meal. We love the small portions in appetizer size and the fresh salads. Service was a little slower than usual on this particular visit, but that happens when a place gets busy because the food is so good. We wish there was patio dining available."

"Our party of eight enjoyed great service and great food. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and she did an excellent job accommodating our large party. Prices were a little on the high end, but completely fair considering the quality of the food. This is fresh pasta made with fresh ingredients and served with beautiful presentation. You get what you pay for. My only criticism would be the coffee, which I found to be weak. We will definitely be back for more."

"This is a very nice local restaurant - a hidden gem - excellent food - love the fact that they offer 3 size dishes - tasting, appetizer and regular size. The chicken meatball was great - salad dressing is perfect - wine prices are reasonable - pours are normal - Service was excellent - server was very attentive. We had been to this restaurant when they first opened so this was our second visit and we will definitely return to this restaurant many times in the future - it is becoming our favorite in Strongsville."

"This was my second visit in two weeks. Both times, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The funghi al forno and the pappardelle bolognese were my favorites. Our server helped us select a fabulous wine and the meal proceeded at an excellent pace. Low-key, relaxing atmosphere. Don't miss an opportunity to eat here!"

"First off, when we sat down there was a funky smell coming from the kitchen. We think it may have been lamb but it wasn't a good smell. We had the squid and smelt appetizer, the sauce was good but the squid and fish was just fried not very flavorful. My dad had beer and said it was warm. I had moscato which was very good! The vegetable appetizer was cold but was very good and flavorful. Our main dishes we pasta of course and my carbonara was excellent. We good butter noodles for our kids and the noodles were kind of rubbery. Our server spoke very fast and she didn't stand for many questions and would just run off. Kind of bizarre. For dessert we had tiramisu which tasted excellent but was served in plastic cup, very school cafeteria like."

"We really love this place. This was our second visit and it was as enjoyable as the first. We were fortunate to have the same waiter as before (Scott); his service is exceptional and he is very helpful in navigating the menu choices. Our first visit was on Valentine's Day and we ordered several tastings. This time around, I ordered the hangar steak and my husband ordered the salmon; both were excellent. I would also recommend trying the oven roasted mushrooms (Funghi Al Forno), house salad (Insalata Verde Tagliata) and, definitely, one of the desserts. Regardless of what you order, you really can't go wrong, and being able to choose your size of entree is a real plus. We will keep going back."

"Upon our second visit within three weeks, DC lived up to the high expectations we set after our first experience. We visited on Valentine's Day evening and experienced great service and attention along with the creativity of the kitchen. Certainly our favorites are the varieties of pasta dishes, although we haven't had anything from the menu that was not good. The pasta offerings of taste, appetizer and entree portions, and very fairly priced wine list allows for some adventures in eating without committing to something you are unsure about. The ownership and staff of DC offers a great dining experience."

"We ordered numerous "tastings," as suggested by the wait-staff, and most were quite good, such as the mushrooms, the meatballs, and a beefy pasta that we could not name. The sauces were often watery and bland, which was unfortunate. We remembered the spot from its Portofino days, and were were surprised at the formica tables and plastic placemats -- especially for the price. We will return, but most likely for lunch, and we will most likely avoid the tomato-based sauces. Staff was fun, prompt and quite knowledgeable. We even brought our two school-aged children, and the staff helped us find meals for the kids that everyone liked!"

"my husband and i love this place. the staff is always helpful. the staff always gets along with one another. the manager took the time to talk with my husband and help him pick out the right beer and ask us how our meal was when we were done. the pasta tasted fresh. we defitnely will be back."

"Took my wife there for Valentines and had a very good time. We are Foodies and like to try various things if possible. Luckily the Valentines Day special was a 4 small plate taster, an appetizer, a 6 pasta taster, and 2 desserts. This was such a bargin and a fun experience for both of us. The server was very honest and helpful in making our selections. I wish I could remember his name but he was outstanding and help make this experience special for both of us. They also have a little market where you can take home one of the wine selections and homemade pastas."

"We love Dante's Tremont Restaurant but this one doesn't hit the note. It feels like you
are in your neighbor's basement. The restaurant is in a strip mall and honestly I think they
just threw table's in there. Very disappointing. While the idea of selecting different sizes of the entrees is novel, it does not seem like they put a lot of care into making and plating the food. Our server seemed annoyed that we were asking a lot of questions about

"My wife has wanted to eat at DC for quite some time. I made reservations for her birthday. The night was wonderful. Great service, excellent food, and some wonderful wine (which is fairly priced compared to others). I will continue to recommend DC to everyone and will certainly make a return trip. Thanks for giving my wife something to remember on her special day. By the way, she's already been back to pick up the family dinner one night with a to go order. Thanks
