A Diamond in the Diamond district, a home away from home in Times Square NY, a New Show in the Theater District... A delicious Cuisine with the experience of a staff working together for more than 10 years, to add care and gusto to hospitality.
"Close to our hotel but just outside of times square. Excellent service. Water glasses were never empty. Food was excellent. Steaming hot when came to table. Manager watching and checking in to be sure all was well. Good variety of wine choices...affordable. Too full for desserts but they looked delicious. We will return!"

"This was our second time at Ceci's. It is a nondescript, traditional Italian restaurant near 5th Avenue and 2 blocks from Time Square. The service is attentive and perfect for pre-theatre dining. Service is attentive but not over-bearing. The restaurant was full which tells me that word is getting out among theatre go-ers. You will not be disappointed."

"The food, service and location were very good. It's in perfect proximity to Broadway theaters, close but not as hectic as restaurant row. Would definitely recommend it."

"we tried this as an alternative to our favorite restaurant Becco since Becco is so often too crowded to enjoy. The food was good - risotto with shrimp could have been cooked better and my daughters enjoyed the home made ravioli. the atmosphere was relatively quiet and service good. Not a bad find - just not great for a trip you want to make a memorable one."

"Ceci was a welcome change from the restaurants around Times Square. Only a few blocks away, we were able to have an enjoyable meal and talk with one another without it being too loud. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service and food were both very good. I would recommend this restaurant to friends."

"We went to Ceci for dinner on a Monday evening - had selected it for the location near the Hilton Hotel on 6th Ave where we were staying. Very pleasantly surprised at the lovely interior and quality of food and service. The price fixe of $29 is quite reasonable for the quantity and selections available. Would definitely recommend it!"

"Another "super" eating experience on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Ceci Italian Restaurant! The food is absolutely wonderful! So so so so satisfying!!!! No matter what food choice I make it's always "amazing"! Love Ceci's and everyone affiliated with the restaurant. It's my favorite place to eat in NYC! Once you try it I'm sure you'll agree! Buon Appetit!!!!
Good food! Good location! Good prices!

"I was attending a show on 42nd St - Ceci's was a quick 7 minute walk to the Theater! Why do I mention the location because this gem of a restaurant is the opposite of one of the tourist eateries that surround 42nd St.
I was with a group of 7 people and upon arrival we were seated quickly we told our waitress that we had to be out by a certain time to get to our show and our dining experience flowed accordingly. No waiting for food no rushing to finish our meal everything was timed right.
All 7 of us had different main courses and but all of us had the same reaction to our meals - wonderful.
So if you want to have a dining experience where the food is great the staff helpful this is the place."

"We love returning to Ceci's. We used to go to Ciro's on Ninth Avenue. When it closed we did not know what to do. Then we accidentally came across Ceci's. All our friends from Ciro's had opened this new restaurant. The wonderful old specials are back, new tasty treats have been created and the place is jumping because the food and service are that good. May they all live long and prosper!"

"Stumbled on this via OpenTable. Was looking for a place to eat after a Broadway Show. Was not disappointed. My wife had the grilled chicken and veggies. She loved it. I did not even bother looking at the menu as I saw they had Pork Osso Bucco after checking out the website. Again was not disappointed. Nice piece of meat and the risotto was the best I ever had. Staff was attentive. I plan on going back."

"This is the second time I have visited this restaurant and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The place is quaint and has the atmosphere of a small family owned restaurant. We had a great Italian meal. We give the service a B only because there were long periods of waiting to find the waiter. There was a manager/owner type person trying to help, but that seemed to create more confusion. We would highly recommend the restaurant. Our family enjoyed it a great deal."

"We ate here once before and we gave very good review. This time, not so good. Service was poor although it was not at all busy (Monday at 6 p.m.) We had to ask the bartender for coffee and the busboy for the check. The appetizer was very overdone, looked and tasted like bad diner food. The main course, grilled shrimp, was ok, but not nearly as good as our first visit. We will not return."

"It was a great choice found on opentable! From the greetings at the door, Nice smile, we had to wait a little at the bar but it was good for a drink prior the dinner, it open up the appetite! We had shrimp tempura and house salad which were exquisite! For dinner we saw near our table Osso Bucco being served, we ordered, no regrets, it was delicious and also we had the tuna grappa sauce cooked perfect and very tasty! We had a very nice Orvieto wine with our dinner that was served by the manager who was very entertaining! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our water and wine glass was never empty. It was a perfect restaurant for a perfect first date!"

"Very good pre-theater food in NYC. Service was fast. We had the Lobster Ravioli, 4 cheese ravioli, and traditional spaghetti with meatballs. Portions were on the small side but that was a good thing before sitting through a play!"

"The food at Ceci is quite good, would recommend the Eggplant Parm, gnocchi, pasta with seafood, as well as the salads. The cheesecake was a delicious dessert. The prix fixe menu at $29.00 is a bargain. On a Friday night we had to wait 25 minutes although we had a 7:15 reservation. Once seated, we ordered and received our salads in a reasonable amount of time, but waited about 30 minutes for our entrees to arrive, after asking twice. Next time I would wait until 7:45, after the theatre crowd clears out."

"Ceci was a very nice restaurant for a good Italian meal but the service was a bit slow and it was also a bit out of the way of the theater we were attending after so we did have to rush a bit."

"I hosted a business dinner here and we were all very happy with our meals and service! I would totally return as would my colleagues! Also, I wasted hours searching for the perfect place to take a group of folks as an appreciation for all their help. Ceci was the first restaurant suggested! Now I know why. Thank you!"

"I thought the Food was very good with many choices. Our diner with dessert and drinks ran about 70 per person. The Calamari appetizer was prepared well and the Calamari was not tough. It had a chipolte glaze that made it interesting and different. I had Pollo Melanzana and it was well parpared with a brown sauce topping. It came with sauteed fresh vegetables which were excellant. This was a very decent Italian Restaurant."

"This restaurant needs a new word for delicious! My bf & I are from Brooklyn & went to the city for a romantic Saturday date night. We were more than impressed by the setting, service & food. It was quiet & dim with a very hospitable & kind waiter. I started out with the spinach salad (recommended if you like tasty salads). For the main dish we both ordered the sirloin steak along with lobster ravioli & it was so mouth watering we overate, but still didn't get that "gluten" feeling bc it was just like homemade. It was so pleasant that I couldn't resist from getting dessert, New York cheesecake, which was the perfect ending to a fine meal. They also have an extensived wine list. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples & small families."

"Spent valentines dinner here and was surprising, found it on opentable. There was a limited menu for valentines day with good food and a nice wine served. Our waitress was very friendly in describing the dishes. My girlfriend had the tuna tartar and I had the soup, great starters and for entree we shared the and steak and the lobster ravioli. Our dessert we could eat and took home. Very happy that we came here!"
