"this is our second time.first time my wife and i celebrated her birthday.the staff was excellent.they they went over the specials,gave us plenty of time to choose our entrees and were always near by.the crab cake app was the best we have had to date and the cowboy ribeye was incredible.they allowed us to share this entree which was so nice as we could never finish one steak each.our second experience was just as wonderful.our only negative was that we did not save any room for their great desserts.well be going back soon"

"food had to be sent back because came to table cold and also under cooked. hostess scowled at our request for another table even though many available. water glasses never filled. spinach had way too much cream and little spinach. never aware that baked potato comes with salt on skin-had to be sent back. apparently manager only greeted tables for people he knew from before."

"The steaks were excellent, but at $56 per, I think I'd rather end up at Capital Grille or a local steakhouse. I'm surprised the Yankees chose Coconut Creek rather than Hard Rock, the casino isn't exactly top notch - just walking in you reek of smoke. The place isn't a haven for Yankees fans - some lit up signatures on the walls and some pictures and retired numbers in random spots around the place. A cheesy scoreboard sits above the food area. Drinks, service were good. Wine was a little above market, but that's to go with the steak. Skillet potatoes aren't, but the beets are worth it. Scallop appetizer was plentiful. Just don't expect anything if you mention ahead of time that the dinner was a special occasion. They'll bring the check."

"If you love steaks, Yankees or great service. NYY is the place for you. Open Kitchen allows you to see all the action, yet the restaurant has classy style. Yankee themed but FAR from a sports bar. Great for a special night. Every time we go we have a wonderful time. If you go ask for Earl, he provides you with the best service. How can a restaurant be wrong when it has Bacon as an appetizer ? Steaks all cut right there in the butchers window. Love it, and fun with Casino right out the front door."

"Starting from when I entered the steak house your staff needs to be a bit more friendly. This was my 1st experience at NYY steakhouse. The ambiance was cold and everyone seemed like they were not happy to be working in the restaurant. The bread was cold, and one the apps. clossal shrimp were not big (this was not a good start). What went right was the wine I ordered and especially the 20oz NY Strip that was outstanding. One of the side orders asparagus was not good (they were really skinny and tasted like if they were low quality). I went the steakhouse to also see a game and I was disappointed to only have a score board. In the future ask your patrons if this is the 1st time then give some sort of new customer orientation."

"We've dined at NYY three times now, and each time has been awesome. While a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. The Long Bone Ribeye is to die for; and they always cook it just right. "Let's start with the service; our server was an incredibly friendly sweet young lady name Michelle. She knew the menue and was a nice as one possibly could ask for. The appetizers (my wife had the scallops and I the oysters) were good but nothing memorable. We had the house salad, a very nise mix of arugula and various fruits in a lime vinegarette that very taste. Our steaks were the bone in aged strips; excellent flave and cooked to perfection. We try to split a baked loaded potatoe but it was actually cold in the middle. We were full on our steaks and told the server not to bother bringing a replacement. She took the potatoe off the bill without us asking.. All in all a good experience and we most likely go back again."

"Great Management, staff, food and service. Starting with Hostesses Anna and Margarita, Asst Manager Karen, Manager Louis Tuscano and our waiter Earl the Pearl. Premium Aged Steaks cooked the way you want them, Fantastic Grilled South African Lobster tails, great chopped salad with wonderful appetisers, with a complete wine list and don't forget the desserts.

"This was our second visit and the Texas rib eye was good but not the fantastic steak we experienced on our first visit. The onion rings were as big as huge bagels,delicious though a bit greasy. The deserts were fantastic and we ordered two for 4 people and that was twice as much as we needed. This is a great place to experience when you are willing to splurge on the dinner bill. They are kid friendly and the service is attentive. Portions are huge so order accordingly planning to share."

"The dining experience was truly noteworthy; service was impeccable. It was a culinary delite to partake of the fresh baked cranberry loaf( palateal extacy), a pretzel, 26oz. long bone cowboy ribeye which was seared to perfection with your initials etched therein( note skip a meal or two before attmpting to consume this succulent behemoth),two cold water african lobster tails and baked potato. "We're been to NYY several times because we love their menu, but this was easily one of the best experiences. The restaurant manager has definitely worked out the issues which were present in this upscale restaurant when it first opened. Service was excellent! The kitchen prepared our shrimps, steak and lobster tails exactly right the first time without having to send them back for being undercooked. The pre-dinner hand towels were hot, the bread basket was hot, our salads were perfect and cold. It could not have been a better dining experience. The staff does not rush you through the courses. It was a lovely, leisurely dinner."

"Went before a concert and staff made sure we were seated promptly. Booths are low so you can see the entire restaurant. The kitchen is behind glass so you can watch preparation. Yankee fans can admire photos of Yankee players and try to decipher names on the signature wall. Our waiter was very helpful, funny and friendly. Cranberry bread and soft pretzels in place of the usual bread basket was a welcome surprise. Salads were a nice size and delicious. The Ahi Tuna was huge. Sides of skillet potatoes (delicious) and asparagus (a tad undercooked) were enough to share. We came back after the concert for coffee and shared a huge piece of chocolate cake with cream and berries; fantastic!"

"I would have to say the the filet was the BEST steak we have ever had. The lobster mac & cheese and creamed spinach was unbelievable! Great tasting wine too. I have eaten there before but not my girlfriend and she loved it too. But did say on line that we were celebrating her birthday and was disappointed nothing was mentioned to her. But besides that a Great place to eat and will again."

"Expected much more than we got. The casino is loud and you could smell smoke in the dining room. Air conditioning was not working and they told us it had been like that for a week. Service was attentive, the food was okay - would only go again if I had to be at the casino. Otherwise, No."

"What a pleasant surprise. A significant venue for dinner even if you don't gamble. Great service, menu and DESERT!
Not typical of South Florida, more typical of Vegas that you would go to a casino for a fine dinner and not care about gambling.
Sunday night in late April was not busy. Great experience. We will be back in less than 2 weeks."

"Excellent service team included Manuella, Alessandra and Carlos. Dry aged NY strip flavorful and perfectly cooked. Scallops and crab cakes appetizers were both moist, delicious and beautifully presented. One bone of contention was in the restaurant reception area where 4 separate hostesses did not even look up from their work to greet let alone smile and/or welcome my party. This seems completely out of place in a fine dining establishment. As noted from my above review everything went uphill from that moment on though. An overall excellent dining experience."

"Best steak I've ever eaten, the sides were unbelievable, and even the appeteizer pretzels were delicious. The service was outstanding and she gave us a very detailed background of the restaurant, history of the steaks, and helped us select a great wine. Overall, great experience & great food!"

"The main course was outstanding, but I have been to similar restaurants where the plates were heated allowing the food to stay hot longer. The appetizers were good, but the shovel-like spoon made it a little cumbersome to enjoy the soup. The side dishes were not hot enough and should have been returned, but hot towels before and after the meal were an excellent touch. There is an entire display case of steak knives, but the ones on the table were not as impressive. When one of us was finished with our main course, the busboy removed silverware from the other one in our party who was clearly still eating. Overall, the service did not quite measure up to the quality of the food."

"NYY Steak house is not very fancey but nice, a little pricey but I knew going in. The service is exceptional from the moment you walk in. My steak was a 16oz bone in New York strip not much taste very tender though. The New York cheese cake wasn't very New York Had a Florida touch with a taste of Lemon. The side were large enough that you were encouraged to spit it with your partner even the Cheesecake. I would go again."
