"We visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. This probably had a lot to do with the quitter ambience. Even though it was an "off" night, we enjoyed outstanding service in the bar and in the restaurant. Cascone's food, service, ambience constantly ranks number one. Their classic pasta dishes are fabulous. If you haven't tried Cascone's you are missing one of the finest dining experiences in Kansas City."

"We went on Mother's Day at lunch. The restaurant was full but service was still pretty snappy. Our waiter Patrick still took his time with us and made us feel welcome. The food was a hit all the way around."

"A friend suggested this place for lunch. That was 10 months ago. Since then it has been in our regular rotation. We eat here at least once a month and on every special occasion. We would eat here on Christmas if it was open.
Not only is the food great it gets better with every visit. The atmosphere is kid friendly which is a big plus for us."

"We come here often for special occasions.The atmosphere is great although a little loud, which makes visiting across a larger table a little difficult. (there were 6 of us). The food is always delicious and served hot and fresh. I enjoy the chef coming out and telling us about the specials of the day. It makes me feel like he is truly involved in the success of the restaurant and enjoyment of his guests. And he always treat us like his guests. Although we had a slow start with service at the beginning of our dinner, the other servers in the area rose to the task and not only located our server but took and served our drink order. If anyone says "I am hungry for Italian" the place to choose is ALWAYS Cascone's."

"My risotto was steamed rice covered with cheese sauce. The three scallops on my dish all had gritty sand in them still, and I didn't eat my chicken - it was bland and flavorless. My SO had chicken parm and he said the chicken was good, but the spaghetti tasted as if it came from a can. We used to go to Cascone's a few times a year, as we live close. Friday night, the lot was half full and now we know why. We won't be back again. They are charging 5 star prices for terrible food."

"This is one of my mother's favorite restaurants naturally this is where we decided to have her 70th Birthday party. Our table location was good, the dinner itself was delicious plus I asked if they could make up a desert plate and the choices that was put together for us all to sample was perfect. Thank you for making our mother's birthday dinner a success."

We have gone there alot and love the food, service, ambiance (We like to sit in the bar area and listen to the Frank Sinatra singer :)The service in the bar area is always excellent. We went there this time for Valentine's Day. We were a little disappointed because there was a "special" Valentines menu so we couldn't get the regular dishes we enjoy -- Fried Shrimp and Prime Rib -- Both Out of this world great! We instead ordered pasta dishes that we weren't too crazy about. The singer was good, but we really like the Frank Sinatra singer and he wasn't there that evening. The restaurant was very crowded and noisey due to Valentines Day. The service, though, was excellent as usual. I would recommend Cascones!"

"My wife and I absolutely love Cascone's and look forward to dining there as a special occasion at least twice a year. We have made it a point to spend every Valentines day at Cascone's the past ten years. The past couple of years has not been so special due to bad seating and rushed service. I always make reservations early so to miss the Valentines day crowd and for the most part it assured us a table but they seen insist on placing my wife and myself in the worst spot. We literally sat right in front of the entrance of the dining room in view of the lined up patrons and in the traffic way of staff zipping by. Not such a romantic or special dinner! It was just a meal and we couldn't wait to get out of there."

"Our waitress was overall ok at best. She was rude in several occasions but when we asked her to run our Kc originals account again when it wouldn't come up for her, she said "I don't know what to tell you". That answer, makes it some of the worst customer service I have had in a longtime . I will never sit in her section again."

"This was an amazing experience! The food is out of this world delicious. Authentic Italian food to the max and will definately visit again and again.
