"The food was good but the wait service was poor. After we finished our main course the empty plates sat on our table for over 15 minutes before they were cleared off. I felt the waiter was flippant in some of his responses and when the meal was over he even gave us his business card promoting his own enterprise."

"The food was a perfect combination of tastes that tickled the tongue. The smoked grape cheese salad was yummy and the varied flavors were exciting. Each of us had different entries, and we all raved about our choices. The roasted brussel sprouts added an element of taste to each of our entries. The service was attentive but not hovering and that was perfect. We were allowed to visit with each other with just the right amount of attentiveness to make us feel cared for but not intruded upon.
The view was beautiful, but the sun does not set over the rocks of the view but reflects. Just so folks are not disappointed as I was. The sun sets behind you and you see the relections. But it was still very impressive."

"I can't say enough in praise of Che-Ah-Chi! From great appetizers (including a wonderful lobster bisque) to delicious entrees (beef short ribs, scallops and Chilean sea bass) to amazing desserts (including possibly the best chocolate torte I've ever tasted), this amazing restaurant blew us away! We were visiting on vacation, but if we lived in the area we'd be there all the time!
We're foodies and not easily impressed... But this truly was an amazing experience! I recommend Che-Ah-Chi without the slightest hesitation!"

"If Yavapai disappointed you, try Che-Ah-Chi. Excellent in every way. They even had a roaming magician who did card tricks at our table. Everything about the experience was an improvement. And, of course, you cannot beat the views from Enchantment."

"The room is worthy of the 5 star rating. The food was interesting. Unfortunately the waiter had no enthusiasm and it was difficult to understand. The overall result was a bit of a disappointment. The support staff was able to keep the water other beverages refilled as was expected."

"THe setting is unbelievable!
Table are very nicely placed in the dining room so everyone has a view.
After ordering filet med rare, it arrived med well.
It took over 30 minutes for a replacement, which was almost med and quite tough!
The risotto was awful - very gluey! For the price I think it was terrible. They didn't even offer to buy a dessert for us! I was shocked when I got the bill, and nothing was comp'd for the inconvenience AND they even charged us for a glass of wine that we did not order! Our bottle of very good wine was listed as $105 and they charged us $125 for it. I won't return for that kind of night, but I wouldn't keep you from seeing the most beautiful sights in AZ."

"We had Easter brunch here during our road trip through the southwest. This restaurant was as magical as the town it is in. Wonderful views, attentive service and an amazing buffet spread. Next time here, we will try to stay at the resort."

"Because of its spectacular location directly "in" the famous Red rocks of Sedona?Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona, the dinning experience is dominated by the incredible view as seen through the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows. The food itself is very good (albeit a bit pricey), but the main draw here is location, location, location; probably the most dramatic restaurant setting in North America. Reserve a table 45 minutes to an hour before sunset. After sunset the primary reason for dinning here is gone."

"I must rave about this restaurant. The service was fabulous, the food heavenly. I started with the fois gras, which was divine. The elk was fork-tender and delicately flavored. We went with the brussel sprouts as an additional side and was not disappointed. The wine list was lovely and I was pleased to see that your selections by the glass were varied as I was the only wine-drinker in our party. Other than the harrowing drive in the dark to the resort, the entire evening was a highlight of our trip. Bravo!"

"We ate breakfasgt and dinner at Che-Ah-Chi. Breakfast was first rate including smoothies that were to die for. Excellent ambiance and view. Dinner is first rate at this high end restaurant at the Enchantment resort. Seabass and short ribs excellent and the service was as good as it gets. At leat have one meal at Che-Ah-Chi even if it is only breakfast - you will not be disappointed."

"I love the modern yet elegant new décor. The service was exactly what I would expect; prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and not over bearing. The food, well, the food was nothing short of spectacular. Chef Schmidt and his team are on the fore front of contemporary cuisine. My palette was taken through a journey of harmonizing flavor combinations. In one word, exquisite!"

"Everything was wonderful; however, they should have told us this was their slow season. I thought since they only had seating at 6:30 and 8:00 that they were booked in between. It turns out there was only one other couple dining in the restaurant and it made it rather uncomfortable...like every word you said echoed. We found out they have one waiter on each night during the slow season and 6:30 or 8:00 are the only 2 dining options. We would have opted for one of their other dining rooms if we had known we would be dining almost alone in a fairly good size dining room."
