"The kebab and lula is a must have. The steak is incredibly succulent and the lula is seasoned to perfection. The rack of lamb is Skewers signature dish and is not to be missed by those who enjoy lamb. Also, make sure you try the ground barberries on your rice. The flavor of the barberries is exquisite."

"We were there for lunch on a Sunday and there were only two other tables, thus the "Quiet" for "Noise". Also there was only one waitress (no people) so the service was problematic."

"I travel for a living and like to go to restaurants that are recommended to me by locals. We were having a good bye dinner for 5 and wanted someplace special. The food here is fantastic! I wish I had discovered this place before my last night in town. Everything tasted wonderful. The wine list has a variety of choices and the menu makes wine suggestions which is nice. The wait staff were pleasant. If I am ever in the Modesto area again I will return for sure."

"This was my first time at the restaurant and I found the food to be delicious and the service to be very good. The rest of my party was running late but the staff kept my iced tea full and brought me bread and butter while I waited. I will definitely recommend and go back. The chicken sultani was great since it gave me a couple of different things. The cucumber and dill yogurt dip was fantastic."

"Food was very good. Restaurant is loud and on the night we went ( Saturday) they had a belly dancer that came out and dance in between tables about every 20 minutes. Fun but slightly awkward."

"Good place for dinner before the theater. The prices are moderate, including the wine list, and the various chicken, beef, and lamb dishes that we ordered were very tasty. One piece of advice - the bruchetta on the appetizer menu is prepared with jalapenos and has a kick to it."
