"Louie's Chophouse is overpriced for what you are receiving. Food did not have a lot of flavor or any type of wow factor. I ordered one of the wine flights and it was pretty bad. All three wines tasted as if the bottle had been open a long time ago and had no distinguishing flavors. It was a last minute decision to eat here so I guess it served it's purpose."

"My filet was $34, and I wanted it done medium, and it came out almost completely cooked through. It had no flavor, and was tough. Not worth $34.
Also, we were a party of 6, and we were put next to a table of 15 women who were rather loud, and the rest of the room was empty. We should have been seated away from them as there were plenty of other empty tables."

"Our appetizer was calamari. The quality was comparable to something I would have expected form a fast food beef stand. Our table setting was incomplete. We had to ask for silverware and a second request was required for slat and pepper. Our steak dishes were served a little on the look warm side, but edible. Service was adequate, but a little slow considering the restaurant was not busy at the time we dined around 6:30. Portions were acceptable, but ultimately not worth the price."

"We eat out at the best places around this area, i.e., Tin Fish, Courtrights, and find Louie's Chophouse food and service to be comparable to these restaurants. The fish is always very fresh and the steaks are fantastic. We have eaten here about 7-8 times already and have not had a bad experience yet. Highly recommend!"

"The great food and drinks were amazing! We had four guest and they raved about the great appetizers, the fresh seafood and steaks were cooked perfectly and you have to leave room for delicious desserts. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nothing what I expected when I entered the restaurant. Our experience will keep us coming back to Louie's Chophouse!"

"My husband and I decided to return to this neighborhood restaurant to enjoy a stress free Easter dinner. We've always enjoyed our time here. And have celebrated many special occasions here also. I decided to splurge and order the king crab legs rather than my beloved sea bass when they have it. I was a little disappointed with the crab legs finding them watery and chewy. However, my husband's steak was great! I should have order the steak or stuck to my sea bass! However, all other times here, I have throughly enjoyed my food. So, with that, I would still be a return customer."

"I made reservations blindly and was very suprised. When we arrived, two women were leaving and stated, "You're going to love it, the food is great." She was right and the music was just as good. "Highly recommend a return to Louies'. We had a 7o'clock reservation, got there about 6:45 expected to wait afew minutes. Louie greeted us and suggested the bar area while he prepped our table. We ordered a drink and enjoyed listening to alittle jazz music played by live band.Then the bartender told us the drinks were on Louie. So nice except we already paid. LOL We were seated shortly after and found the room bustling and full. Everyones food looked great as we were seated. Server was courteous and offered specials and took order promptly. We got our complementary drinks and didn't have too long of wait for soups and salad. The steaks were great! although abit pricey. Definitely will be back with a bigger appetite...so I can have dessert!"

"My mother and I visited Louie's Chophouse for an early Sunday dinner, at about 5:30p and it was pretty quiet. We didn't know what to expect. I must say, I was impressed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The dining room has a traditional steak house setting which was nice.
We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail - simple and filling. We both opted for a steak dinner. I ordered the T-bone steak - grilled to perfection! My mother ordered the Porterhouse -juicy and flavorful. This particular Sunday dinner was a treat for us, so we opted for dessert - the double chocolate cake with a scope of vanilla ice cream! It was the perfect ending to a great Sunday dinner. I truly enjoyed Louie's I will definitely be back."

"My parents and I went here for dinner this weekend. The portions were generous and we enjoyed our meals. Our server had a bit of an attitude. As we sat down he asked what we wanted to drink. I asked for a drink menu and he said he didn't have one, but he could bring me a martini list. I said I'd like a glass of wine and he asked white or red. I said red and he brought me a giant wine list (of both white and red). Okayyyyy. It was all a little weird."

"Louie's is definitely one of our favorite places to eat. The mood is perfect, the service is great, and the food is awesome and reasonably priced. They have a nice sized back room for special occasions too. For those looking to just have drink they have a decent sized bar as well. Louie is normally there to greet you when you arrive. We do not get out much as a couple, but when we do Louie's is normally where we desire to be."

"I had the petit filet and my husband had the prime rib. The filet was good- good char crust, and cooked perfectly (medium rare). My husband enjoyed his prime rib.
