"What a cool place to have in midtown! The aesthetic is contemporary but natural with warm wood walls, sky high ceilings and bar level chairs and tables so that every patron shares the bar vibe - and even inside, you can be part of the al fresco culture with this tall doors open to the patio. We did a tapas style meal with a bottle of red and even did the pear infused vodka drink as part of dessert. We left feeling like we'd celebrated great food and company in a cool, unique way!"

"Their black truffle pizza is the best I have ever had! Server was very knowledgable about the wine pairing with our food. The person dining with me had the stuffed ravioli which was also quite good."

"While the waitress was great, the food was mediocre at best. Worst, the music was so loud we couldn't hear the waitress and physically had to yell to ask that it be turned down. That lasted for about 5 minutes. I expected refined and upscale. I got bar quality food and dance club level music. If you just want to drink and not hear the people you're with, it's a good place. Otherwise don't waste your time/money."

"The ambiance was nice, but our waiter could have cared less that we were there. He seemed annoyed and let it all out on us. They sat us RIGHT next to another couple, while there were MANY other tables available. My husband and I enjoyed the prosciutto pizza, but the sauce on my pappardelle was cafeteria quality at best. Needless to say, we left as quickly as we could get our waiters attention. Very disappointing. Also, the music was all wrong. Yes, fun to sing along to 90's hits, but wrong for this place."

"Well...the food presentation was decent. The beet salad was good, although feta was tasteless--goat cheese is better suited. Pizza was OK, but not memorable. VERY disappointed in the tiny pour of my draught beer. It came in the same size glass my friends had for their wine and the same amount (probably 6 oz. tops) for $6. That did not sit well with me. Finally--I wondered how any handicapped or elderly people could eat there. Literally, inside, there were ONLY cafe-tall tables with essentially bar stools. Someone wasn't thinking."

"The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our early evening dinner before a play at the Alliance (a super easy walk).Though the restaurant is small, it is very comfortable. It was not crowded when we arrived(probably because of the early hour and the Final 4 in town),but started to fill before we left. I can see how it could be a very hot spot.It has a beautiful bar as well as al fresco dining. We shared a crispy calamari & shrimp appetizer and a salmon appetizer that were both fabulous, followed by 4 different pasta dishes (all excellent but mine - the Pappardelle - was the best). The waiter made a great wine recommendation and clued us in on the generous portions so we didn't overorder. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely go back soon."

"We had superb service last Monday at Aselinamfrom our server Jasmine. She could not have been more knowledgeable about the food and attentive toour needs.
Food was excellent, my one very ,inor coplaint was that the portions are a bit on the small side.
Our friends wanted herbal teas and while Aselina did not have them on the menu STK did and she was able to get them from thenadjacent (shared?) kitchen.
A nice expeerince in a unique environment."

"Maybe it was the time of I visited, but this place was rather bad. I waited at the door for about 8 minutes to get say when I had reservations. And the place wasn't really busy. After we were seating our server seemed as if he had no interest in being there. We ordered food and our appetizer took forever. Then when we got it, it was not the temperature you think something that was just made should be at. It seemed as if the chef had poured an entire handful of salt on the dish. It was the eggplant by the way. Again throughout the meal the server was very unattentive and seemed not concerned with us being there. The main dish showed up maybe 3 minutes after the appetizer. Those dishes weren't bad. The ravioli wasn't that warm"

"My fiance and I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day hoping for some tasty Italian food. When we arrived, we were told it was a prix fix menu, but the menu had no price on it. We ordered a bottle of wine (cheapest was $40) and picked out our 3 dishes. All of the food was terrible, and when we got the bill, the total was $172, meaning our dinner with tip was $200. That's $200 for food that could have been better spent at Olive Garden. I will never return here and have already told multiple people how terrible the food is for being so expensive. Hopefully a good Italian place moves into this location soon."

"We just went out on 02/16/13 for a Valentine's date night. We were very disappointed. They treated us like if they were doing us a big favor, very poor customer service. The food it was OK. When you are paying that kind of money for a meal, you are expecting at least a dissent service. After 20 minutes of been seated we have to called someone to bring us water and the menus. Definitely we are not planning to go back."
