"Very nice outdoor dining area, however very close to the train station. Service was excellent. I had the summer salad with grilled salmon with a lovely and affordable chardonnay. Tables may seem a bit close, but it still felt private. We'll definitely return and try other menu options!"

"We love City Square Cafe. Even though it is a small restaurant, it is still kid friendly. They were nice enough to put us in the back so our 2 year old wouldn't "bother" the other diners. The service was excellent and the food was amazing, as always. I also appreciated that the restaurant contacted us a few days ahead of time to confirm our reservation and they were ready for us when we arrived, no wait. Definitely on our list for other special events."

"Went to the City Square Cafe for Mother's Day Brunch. Even on this busy day, the service was great, the food was very good and the ambience was very nice and laid back. it was a definite plus that we train fans were seated right by the tracks, so we could enjoy the passenger trains as they whizzed by. Enjoyed the out of the ordinary brunch fare."

"My family went here for my birthday recently larley because of all of the very good reviews. The cafe was at best OK. The service was inconsistent although friendly, the food ranged from OK to terrible and despite making a reservation we were crammed into a table near the door so were distracted by everyone coming and going. Perhaps if all you want is scrambled eggs and outdoor seating this is an ok option."

"We went to City Square Cafe for Easter brunch. They did a nice job of scheduling the tables, we weren't on top of each other. The Cafe was prompt with our orders and the food was good! No complaints! We hope to go there again next year for Easter. If the weather is good, we'll sit outside. This year we sat inside due to rain."

"This has quickly become our "go to" restaurant for special occasions/for no reason at all/to take new friends/to take friends visiting the area. We love the folks that run the cafe and the staff. They make you feel like you are the only ones in the restaurant - even though it is usually full every night. How great to hear the sound of the trains as they pass by. It is not disruptive, but very romantic. Often there is live music. They assisted my husband in setting up a lovely valentine's day surprise."

"From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, it was a terrific experience. We were greeted at the front door by one of the owners I believe and taken to our table. Linda, our server, was so friendly and took the time to make suggestions and answer any questions we had. All of our food was incredible and we will definitely be back!"

"My wife and I participated in a Friday night Murder Mystery in Tuscany Four Course Tuscan Wine Dinner. The restaurant is very small so a table must be hard to get without a reservation but the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food is delicious, the wine list is limited but diverse and offers excellent choices from a wide range of varietals, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful in offering information about the wines they serve. The murder mystery premise was cheesy but it offered audience participation which made the experience enjoyable. My wife and I would like to return and sample an "un-fixed" menu which looks delicious based on the foods' descriptions. I definitely recommend this restaurant!"
