"Great restaurant! Chef Alberto has the "chops" and delivers the goods, you will not be disappointed. Service is outstanding and the meal pace was relaxed but efficiently and thoughtfully executed. Great cocktails from the bar and, of course, Chef Alberto's pasta dishes were superb works of culinary art. This was my second visit but I will be going back, hopefully again and again.
If you like fish, be sure to give the Branzino Del Mediterraneo Arrosto con Zucchini alla Menta e Pomodorini a try. My mother ordered it and it was heavenly. A most delicious and delectable entree. The Taglierini Saltati al Pesto alla Genovese e Polpa di Granchio was served piping hot and al dente with scads of lump crab meat and a nuanced Pesto. Worth the price!"

"We had a fine time at Alberto's. There were four of us. Two had been there before; our friends had not. The food was great. No complaints (even minor issues) from any of the four. My wife said the sea bass was the best she had ever had--even better than our wedding feast. Service was just right, attentive, but not hovering around the table. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the restaurant and the production. We will be back again."

"Everyone in our party of 4 loved the food. We had lamb chops, risotto, mussels (for a main dish), and sea bass. I had mussels for an appetizer. There was considerable "soup" at the bottom of the mussels, and we both had to ask for spoons for it.
I was very surprised to see that, when clearing, the server stacked all the dishes on the edge of the table before carrying them. She should have made several trips or had some help.
The server was pleasant and helpful otherwise."

"Was our first time at Alberto's on 5th and was a bit disappointed! The staff at Alberto's is not welcoming at all. Our waiter was a bit condescending. Staff appeared rushed! Our appetizer was delicious. We ordered the Burrato. My husband ordered the lobster tail and homemade fettuccine and it was terrible. The lobster tail was small and tasteless and the fettuccine was smothered in sauce. I ordered the pappardelle with veal and it was alright. Unfortunately, we will not be returning as this restaurant seems to be inconsistent on more than one level!!"

"Alberto's is only about a year old on the avenue but is an excellent choice among the many dining choices on fifth avenue in Naples. The light decor reminded me of Michael's in midtown Manhattan and the food and service were excellent. I had the Tagliarini Campistano scallop pasta special which was wonderful."

"We wanted to try Alberto's for the first time so we went early to take advantage of their "early dining" menu. It was a good decision. We had a window seat over-looking the sidewalk, and the restaurant was quiet at that time. My wife had the spinach and ricotta pasta dish and I had the lamb ragout, both were excellent. These dishes, along with the appetizers, were the perfect amount of food. We will be back....

"This was my first visit to Alberto's and it did not disappoint. The waiter talked me out of my normal salmon selection in light of trying something different. He highly suggested the Branzino, a Mediterranean fish. It was fabulous and reminiscent of the fish I had in Capri, Italy. Light, flavorful and lemony!"

"WE were not happy with our server, slow to take our order and also with the check, and just not very attentive. I had the lobster with pasta, the presentation was nice, but the lobster was not cooked thru and the sauce on the pasta was not what was described on the menu. We are in the restaurant busninesss and I am not quick to write bad reviews, but to be totally honest I don't see us returning."

"The food here is outstanding time after time. The only reason the over all experience is very good instead of outstanding is the noise level. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and had to speak well above normal speaking tones to be heard among the 4 of us. I think being seated on the perimeter or outside would be a little quieter."
