Nourish Grill offers excellent food and service in an elegant yet relaxed waterfront setting. Our dishes are prepared to the highest standards with local, sustainable and organic ingredients whenever possible.

"The restaurant is a bit difficult to locate, but my 2 friends and I arrived around noon. We sat at one of two outdoor tables. There were very few other customers, both inside and outside. Two of us ordered the daily specials, salmon, and one ordered a hamburger.
No waiter asked if we wanted drinks while we waited for our orders and no bread was brought to the table. There was silverware for one person and one napkin on the table. I got the attention of a waiter and order a glass of wine. About 5 minutes later he returned and told me he had forgotten the type of wine I had ordered. When our food arrived, there still were not enough utensils and only one napkin for the 3 of us. After lunch, we had to go inside to get the check."

"A few days ago I met a friend there for lunch. She had traveled from NY to family in Palo Alto then the drive to Nourish. I was coming from the north. Obviously we had no living room close enough to girlfriend in for a few hours after lunch. Nourish, in that most gracious style of theirs, let us stay several hours into the afternoon. We enjoyed that time of uninterrupted talking and being together. Tim, our waiter, checked on us now and then yet seemed to know when to stop by and when to leave us alone. My friend and I enjoyed the place, the view, the comfort so very much. And to top it off the food is ahhhhh-mazing, just ONE-derful."

"Such a joy to see our club so packed and full of Friday Night Fun. Everyone was so excited about the fabulous generous helpings of prime rib and all the trimmings. And the service was attentive and timely. A great Friday Night tradition has returned. I look forward to more comfortable

"The waitstaff was spot on. The water view great. Downsides: it's part of a condo or apartment complex, residents' kids were playing very loudly unsupervised in a sitting area within the dining room. They were asked to tone it down, then asked to leave. We heard a former chef from Postrio was chef there, and were so excited to try the food. Ouch. We both had the jambalaya with fish on top and a salad. I think they must have used Uncle Ben's instant rice. Awful! I found 8 tiny cubes of flavorless sausage in the tomato sauce. As far as I could tell it was almost unspiced. We needed and got gluten free, and we were grateful, plus perfect asparagus (free!)but plopping a hunk of unseasoned fish on the rice mix made for the most uninspired food."

"I put yes on recommendations because I need more visits to decide. It was a prime rib dinner and they had icluded salmon. Salmon was not available and substituted with halibut. Although a limited menu, still the service at the food table was one person. The table service for drinks and checks was extremely slow. We received our drinks past the half way mark of our meal. It needs more efficient management. I shall try it once more on an evening with their full menu. My wife goes there with her grandson and thinks that it is better at lunch when one can also appreciate the view."

"I had finally convinced my husband to go for the Chinese diner.....it was HORRIBLE!!!!!!
first of all no one told me that it was a buffet.....or perhaps I over looked that!
the soup was cold.....the ginger chicken had too much ginger.....the rice was dry and tasteless......the wontons were awful.....
unfortunately, it will be a long time before my husband will go back!

"I took my wife to Nourish for Valentine's Day, having never been there before, and we both really enjoyed the meal. Since this was a prix fixe evening I don't know what the usual fare is like but our's was delicious. The restaurant is in a tennis club in a residential area of Strawberry Point in Marin, and has a club-like feel, which I imagined would be especially comfortable for a casual lunch when you could take in more of the view. I had to reschedule to a later time which the management did graciously, but then we got there early. We were seated right away, but then waited a while to be served. Since I was in no hurry that was fine. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. Would go back."
