"We had a party of 7 for a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch. The ages of our group consisted of early 20s - 80s; the food selection was very good and satisfied all tastes. The service was very good and attentive! Our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation and we were promptly seated (important when you have older people in your party)! This was our first time to this restaurant, but we will go again."

"Perfect food, fun and friendly staff, nice atmosphere. We started outside, it began to sprinkle they quickly moved us inside. It has an odd scenic view - you are under the massive angels and trumpets that extend from Bass Hall...impressive. Wait staff - knowledgeable & outgoing. She had us sample a wine varietal with which we were not familiar...wow. Wine list is not extensive, but it is varied with excellent vineyards (I studied with ING). Homemade bread and gavoch is to die for, we had warm brie for an appetizer and both had different cuts of beef for main course...and creme brulee and a chocolate mint martini for dessert. Not cheap, but not ridiculously expensive. When the food and service are this PERFECT - you don't mind paying more."

"We eat at Ferre at least once each time we come to the Ft. Worth Opera festival--it is right across the street from the Bass performance hall. Each time we go we like this restaurant a little better. The cocktails were spot on--we order classics and they knew how to make them well. We tried the calamari, which I'm usually neutral on because of the chewy rings, but this dish was delicious--the larger steak portions made the dish tender and tasty. Paradelle with herbs was very well prepared, and the pizza is always my favorite--fancy when served there. Possibly the only weak point of the meal was the key lime tartlett--lots of graham cracker crumbs and a thin, and overly firm center."

"We were in Ft. Worth for the weekend. We were in the mood for Italian and decided to try Ferre. The restaurant seems to really try to be a friendly, upscale, white tablecloth place,but simply falls short. The staff are indeed friendly, but seem inexperienced and disorganized. The price of the food is higher than what the quality justifies (it's not bad, just does not merit the price of $30-$40 per entree). And the layout of the very big space feels impersonal, so you don't get that intimate, upscale feeling. Carpets that desperately needed vacuuming were also a detraction. Sadly, would not recommend. For the same cost we had an outstanding experience at the Lonesome Dove the next night."

"We chose this restaurant because it was across street from Bass Hall...and made reservations for 2. It took 45 minutes ( with courteous reminders) to be served, leaving only 15 minutes left for dining...in order to make the Opera! At least we had 15 minutes....another party were served at 70 minutes...just as they needed to leave for the show...and were initially billed for the meal! The food was delicious and the wait staff are friendly & professional...just plan on having Plenty of time to dine!"

"Brad the GM was spot on with his attention to detail and providing his servers proper training. Our waiter Michael was engaging and the service level was fantastic. "Nice restaurant and conveniently located across from the Bass Hall where we were going to the opera. The staff realized this (by how we were dressed) and made efforts to get us dined and to the show on time. The entrees were very good and moderately priced (expected). We asked for dinner salads and while tasty seemed high in price. Be sure to check what you are ordering. They have a small outside dining area which could be quaint but it is next to busy street so not sure of the noise level. We dined inside. Inside, the noise level was bothersome. Although it has high ceilings, it also has concrete flooring and the noise seems to bounce to make conversations difficult. Overall, nice, good food, and convenient if going to the Bass Hall."

"Very impressed on all levels. The manager made sure that all was taken care of including my car as I arrived at valet parking.
Delighted to be able to have a glass of Mount Veeder Cabernet.
The filet was excellent.
Upon returning to the restaurant after the opera for an after dinner drink we were greeted by the manager once again. He said that he was glad we came back after the opera. The serving of Baileys on the rocks was quite disappointing. Very stingy pour. As we were leaving manager (Mr. Crouch) presented his card, thanked us for coming in and said to call when we were coming back to dine and he would like to take care of us. Very impressed. This speakes volumes regarding how this establishment is managed and the staff."

"When I asked the waiter if my daughter and I could split a dish and substitute a vegetable for the risotto, his demeanor changed so much, I finally asked, "Is there a problem". It was uncomfortable and exaggerated for a simple request.
When the dish arrived it was divided on 2 plates, which was nice, but was so incredibly salty, I couldn't finish it.

"I love this restaurant, but this time I was disappointed. The menu was forgettable and apparently they had some issues in the kitchen because we waited more than 15 minutes between our first and second course. My strawberry-rhubarb dessert was great, except for the fact that I couldn't eat the crust until I decided to grab it and bite it. Spoon was useless. My eggs benedict were great, too, but again, the bread was TOO crunchy so I had to eat it with my hands. Arugula salad lacked flavor and it was kind of overwhelming. Needed more dressing."

"We have eaten here several times. This time they seemed to be unprepared for Easter bruch. We had reservations and we seated in a reasonable amount of time. However, after that, the service was extremely slow. It took over 10 minutes to be welcomed by a waiter and then 15 more minutes before we were given a beverage. The couple seated next to us had waited over an hour for their entree. Since it was a fixed menu,I am surprised that it took so long. We rarely saw our waiter, and it was usually just to apologize for the slow service. Our appetizers were really good. My entree was overcooked and tasted as if it had been under a heat lamp for quite some time. The crust was burnt and too hard to eat. Disappointed."

"My wife and I have been at this restaurant many times over the past yesrs.
We've gone in groups with friends, always at our recomendation.
After the Bass we've joined couples for a late wine and refreshments evening.
For Easter we made reservations through Open Tables. We ordered our meals availabe,
since the favorate Lamb special was no longer availbale. So we ordered the pork loin.
Tables that were sitted fifteen and twenty minutes after us received their pork loin
before my wife and I. We asked for items and never were provided with them including water.
Thankfully we ordered a nice wine which kept us going as we waited.
I feel bad as we know these people, but they came up short on this one."

"When we originally sat down, we were not impressed. Very loud, was not greeted for 10-15 minutes, then when we finally were she was rushed and a little rude. So we decided to leave. As we were walking out the door the manager stopped us, asking us to come back and give them another try. Finally we decided to come back, and we are glad we did. The manager put us with an amazing server, and the food was fantasic. Huge props to Brad the manager for turning our experience around."

"I had been wanting to try Ferre and waited for a special occasion to make my reservation. The restaurant was crowded, but we were immediately seated at our table. Our waiter was friendly and mentioned the evening's specials clearly and concisely. He was attentive and had a great personality.
