"Great experience overall. Good food, ambience, and drinks. The hostess and wait staff were superb and food was delicious. We had business contacts in for the week, and went to several restaurants and they still talk about Table 50 and not hte others."

"Food was excellent as always, but we were ready to walk out after such poor service.
Once we were given water, it was probably 15-20 minutes before someone realized we existed. And there were maybe 6 other patrons in the entiree restaurant at the time - one couple seated next to us had no wait for drink orders or food orders. No one ever actually took our drink order. When we finally asked for drinks ourselves, the waitress brought the wrong item to my partner. We assume she was new, but we were ready to walk out after such poor service."

"Had a great experience at Table 50. It's on the expensive side but well worth it, especially for special occasions! It was a little loud (though it was St. Patrick's Day weekend), but the food was incredible and the service was great! I will definitely go again in the future!"

"After some confusion upon arrival, our experience at Table 50 was wonderful. The hostess had disappeared, so we had to wait at first. However, the restaurant had prepared our table for us ahead of time, so everything went smoothly from there. The food was excellent! To start, I ordered the beet salad, and my companion ordered the pear salad. Both salads were nicely portioned and very fresh. My request to have the dressing served on the side wasn't questioned and was served accordingly. We both ordered a filet. The steak was cooked exactly to order. The sides were delicious and appropriately sized. The dessert menu was limited and not overly exciting (just traditional desserts), but we were very satisfied."

"We decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day a day early and have a good meal on the historic market area of Downtown Roanoke. After a quick search for reviews on the Web, Table 50 caught my eye. For an appetizer, I had the pear and blue cheese salad. My girlfriend had the baked goat cheese with pecans, apple, and cherries. Both salads were good. For the main course, I had the grouper. There was plenty of polenta, but not enough lump crab, asparagus, or cilantro bercy sauce. She had the duck and said it was good. The service was fine. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chocolate mousse torte. Awesome! Overall it was a good meal (but not great)."

"My wife and I celebrated by 60th birthday at Table 50. We have eaten at Table 50 many times and have always enjoyed ourselves and the food. This night was particularly nice. We both had the beef filet special and thought it was the best steak we had ever tasted."

"Evening got off to a slow start as hostess did not acknowledge us waiting for close to 10 mins. and after being seated were not greeted by a server for close to another 10 mins.. But once we were served the rest of the evening's service was attentive and timely. That is reason for 4 vs. 5 star service rating. The food was very good. Portions were nice and food arrived hot which is very important to me. The wine list was varied and reasonably priced...more extensive than I had expected. All and all I think Table 50 did a very nice job and offered a lovely, generous selection of courses for Restaurant Week. We will definitely eat there again."
