"Solera is a great place to experience authentic Spanish cuisine created by their long time chef from Barcelona. Everything is delicious, from their famous gazpacho in the summer, to their soups of the day all year long. Fish is particularly well prepared here."
"Nice quaint restaurant. Sangria was strong and less fruity but more wine based. Overall the food was good. I think next time we might stick to ordering more tapas but overall good date night with the hubby."
"This was our first timing dining at Solera Restaurant and we were impressed with the combination of classic tapas fare and reasonably priced entrees. The service was very efficient and the host made sure our party, which arrived at staggered times, was seated as they came in."

"Their Tapas menu was so appealing that we skipped the main entrees and ordered a variety of tapas that were absolutely delicious. Chorizos, ham croquettes, garlic shrimp and shrimp empanadas were prepared to perfection accompanied by a terrific dry Spanish white wine. Finishing off this meal with a small quartet of icecream, flan, cremebule and pastry along with cappucino brought a perfect evening to a close."

"The food and service as well as the ambiance just make this an all around go-to in midtown. Yes the prices are high but I think they are just for the area and the type of dining experience you are getting."

"I don't eat Spanish food often, but when I do, Solera is one of my top choices. From the warm bread and olives to the delicious wild mushroom appetizer and the always mouth-watering patatas bravas (I generally don't even like potatoes that much), not to mention the generous portions of paella, Solera always hits the spot."

"This was our first trip to NYC with the kids. We wanted to take them to a fine dining experience, but not one that was stuffy or stifling. The staff were enormously kind and engaging to my family. The food was exceptionally delicious for all palates (even younger ones) We felt special and that was a gift!"

"Solera's food is truly authentic Spanish cuisine. Everything is fresh and delicious. Their soups are light, full of vegetables and without cream. Very healthy. Fish dishes here are special, very fresh and tasty."
