You are invited to experience The Pecan, College Park's newest fine dining restaurant. We offer eclectic flavors expertly fused under the watchful eye of Chef Tony Morrow.
"The food is delicious! Cozy, but not crowded. Staff is very nice. I've only had one server who was "less than personable." He added an 18% tip to my bill (two people). Since I'm usually a 20% type of guy, he cut himself short.
The only issue I have is that if you get a table in the rear, inside is much too dark. It is too dark to be romantic. Sure, the moon light that is cut into the roof is supposed to provide light is a nice touch and supposed to add to the ambience, but I'd rather be able to read my menu without an issue. I always make reservations and request window seating."

"We took our mom to the Pecan for breakfast/brunch. She has always talked about the restaurant, so we decided to treat her to a meal on Mother's Day. The food at "The Pecan" was great! The chef's dishes were great. The shrimp and grits were yummy and I love the smooth-creamy texture. (The Chef at the Pecan need to give some pointers on Shrimp and grits to some restaurants in my area. Since this was my first time at the restaurant, I was not sure what the "protocol" was as far as getting food, drinks, so I was a bit confused. The doors opened a little later than our reservation, but that did not dampen the spirit of the day. The only issue that my brother had with the Pecan was that there were no plates available."

"The Pecan was a wonderful experience for my parents and I when we arrived in Atlanta from Los Angeles. As soon as we left the airport, we headed here to try the entrees we'd read so many wonderful reviews about. Fried catfish, Crab cakes, appetizer sampler, and biscuits were absolutely stellar. Our server was very friendly and our selections came out promptly during a high traffic time of the day (6PM). We LOVED this place, and would highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for fabulous food in a lovely setting."

"We were in from out of town and count this to be an excellent choice. The food was creative and freshly prepared, and there are plenty of choices for varied palates. We will go again when in the area. Service was terrific."

"Really enjoyed lunch. Very nice grilled chicken sandwich. My dining companion had a wonderful chicken dish with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. Nice complementary cornbread. Would recommend it if you are in the neighborhood."

"Everyone was very attentive. The food was great! This is a good spot for date night, birthdays, friends or celebrations. I wouldn't bring kids here, it's more of an adult atmosphere. Try it out!"

"Searching for a restaurant to enjoy wtih friends as we traveled to a new town, we came upon The Pecan, offering a quaint setting and delicious food. The location near the ATL airport surprised us and our guests with being a quiet and comfortable atmosphere and menu choices that were well-prepared and beautifully presented. Our server was very professional and was attentive to detail as we placed our orders. Our entre's were nicely done and desserts were tasty, too. We'd strongly suggest giving it a try!"

"Very good overall experience. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the crab cakes and rack of lamb. Service was great and the place has a nice ambiance with good music choices and is quiet enough to talk. Wonderful evening."

"I was looking for a different place for our owners to dine when they are in Atlanta. They always stay at the Marriott Gateway. We usually end up dining in Douglasville. We like the option of a private room which limits our selection in Douglasville even more. I looked up restaurants near the aiport and The Pecan came up on the list. We decided to give The Pecan a try and we were completely shocked there was such a "gem" located in College Park. The evening was perfect and our party of 6 gave your restaurant "thumbs up". The food is a bit pricey, however the portions are huge. We ordered the appetizer sampler. That with a salad would have been perfect. We over ordered. We will definitely recommend The Pecan to our owners!"

"Highly recommended...everything about my visit was excellent. The surf and surf special (crab cake and lobster tail) was cooked to perfection. The ambiance was lovely, our server Clarence was exceptional. I'm looking forward to my next outing at The Pecan already."

"My wife and I celebrated Valentines at Pecan one day late due to my travel schedule. We avoided the crowd and both of our dinners were delicious! She had blackened shrimp on pasta with cream sauce and I had blackened mahi. The portious were generous and the flavors divine. Of course we had to try their PECAN pie a la mode for desert. It was very flavorful and filled with pecans without being overly sweet. The service was also excellent. Our server was pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. We will return."

"The food was great. However, on the day that couples enjoy themselves, Valentines Day, the restaurant only schedules 2 servers during lunch. I didn't plan on having a 2 hour lunch with a restaurant that requires you to make a reservation. I don't blame the servers just management. The servers did a great job trying to keep up."

"We had been wanting to visit The Pecan for a while. We finally got a chance this past weekend. There were 6 of us celebrating my birthday. We had heard great things about the menu, which turned out to be true. Everything we ordered was very tasty - pecan shrimp, seafood wontons, fried lobster tails, lamb chops and tilapia - although, the top of the seafood wontons were hard to cut through and a little chewy, and the 3 of us who ordered the lamb chops ordered them medium and they came back more medium well. All of that aside, the meals were still enjoyable. The service is something else entirely. I think the resturant would benefit greatly from hiring older and more experienced staff. That is going to make or break this place, for sure."

"I went for dinner Friday evening. The restaurant had good number of people dining, but was not crowded. The service was outstanding and very attentive. The food was outstanding. We tried a mix of appetizers and entrees. The shrimp and grits were as good as any I have ever had (from anywhere). The crabcake had such terrific flavor. We can't wait to return and try some different items on the menu."

"The food was pretty good at The Pecan. On of the people in our party ordered the rib eye, but they were already out of it at 9pm. It was very loud in the small place, so it was hard to hear the conversation at your table because everyone else was talking loudly, too. It was even difficult to hear what our waiter was saying because of how loud it was in there. He had to repeat himself, several times. The bar is not very big, and only had three seats, but probably could have had five."

"Wonderful meal. we both had a trio of stuffed wontons with shrimp/crab inside and a great dipping sauce...It was wonderful. We also had an "off menu" item that we specially requested, the lamb chops but with two dipping sauces similiar to the pork loin sauces on their regular menu. It was also quite good. The dessert that i had was the peach cobbler which was just okay as far as I am concerned. The peaches tasted like they may have been canned."

"Great ambiance and crisp service. This spot is great for a business dinner or to enjoy a nice evening with your sweetie. The menu is broad enough to cover anyone's tastes but no so extensive as to be overwhelming. We had the Blackened Shrimp and Grits and the Crab cakes. Both were quite tasty and finished perfectly with the Creole Aioli. The Peach Cobbler dessert was perfect - not too sweet and with an incredible crust."
