"I enjoy the Sunday brunch regularly. The eggs benedict is always excellent and the French toast is to die for. I took my mom on Mother's Day and the food and service was just as good even though it was busy. Thank you for a special time."

"Having been to Stephane's two weeks in a row, we experienced contrast between the two visits.
The first one was to entertain clients. We were seated in the upper level. From the moment that we sat down the service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgable and took great care to serve us well. We loved the fresh oysters, short rib, snapper stuffed with lobster, etc. The wonderful chocolate cake for dessert could have fed 8 people.
The next week we were looking forward to another evening at Stephane's. Unfortunately it was not as good an experience. This time we were seated near the noisy bar. Our unattentive server suggested another side rather than fries with the mussels, and then charged us for it. My lobster tail was dry."

"My wife and I dined once again at Stephane's on Saturday evening and were reminded why we continue to enjoy this fine restaurant. The oysters are always excellent and chilled perfectly, but the mussels are the best we've ever tasted. For the locals, the off season is the perfect time to sample the excellent fare without the attending crowds."

"Referred by a friend, we tried this place for Brunch. Crabcake and Salmon version of Eggs Bene were both very tasty. The atmosphere is an upscale steak/seafood house with a fashion slant. They had fashion runway shows on the TVs. Service very good. Dinner menu looks intriguing enough to go back."

"Horrible service. While we sat waiting for our waiter to take our order the TWO waiters were with a group of other waiters having a friendly 10 minute char. It wasn't until I caught the waiters eye that he finally came to take our order..
Our dessert was a melted brie.. Normally if the food is just poor quality I don't say anything and don't return again to the restaurant. But the Brie was horrible and I told the waiter. He sent the manager, who asked if we would prefer another dessert. We all felt we had enough of Stephane's so we said no.We got the check and we PAID for the Brie.
Poor management, poor food, very poor service, very, very expensive...total disaster!!!!!!!"

"This is a NYC style restaurant. Beautifully appointed and service without doubt. But the prices are very high for what is given.

"A beautiful facility. certainly a little pricey, save for special occasions. Our wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and not afrid to give opinions. "The food was excellent. Escargots spectacular and so were the mussels, which were fresh, sweet and had plenty of garlic and herbs. The bar area and the bar bites were all excellent, in fact. Especially noteworthy was the attitude of the waitstaff. The service was just impeccable. Our waiter, Melvin, was one of the best we ever had. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, eager to please, willing to make some substitutions (because of allergies). It makes such a big difference when the staff is outstanding. We will be back again, because it is a rare restaurant that combines perfect service to great food (with a nice atmosphere, of course. For a main course, we tried the Poulet St-Tropez and loved it: perfectly cooked and seasoned and decent portio"

"We had dinner with our good friends last night. The food, decor and service were outstanding. Stefane and his son Roman were greeting every guest as if it was their home. We had various fish dishes. The Bouillabaisse and Bonzini were awesome. Salmon was also very nicely done. The waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. The maitre d Marcel was gracious and welcoming. Even the valet parker was extremely welcoming, well groomed and projected a pride as a representative of this fine restaurant. This is "the place" to go to enjoy an intimate evening with friends and great for couples and any celebratory milestone. Finally, a reason in Boca to step our of the gates. You get what you pay for."

"We took my mother to Stephane's for her 93rd birthday. We were incredibly impressed with the ambiance and the food. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped to make this a memorable experience. My mom's friend, who is 96 years old, said it was the best lunch he had ever had! Quite a glowing compliment, I thought! The mussels are the best I have ever eaten. We will definitely be back soon."

"My wife and I will return to this fantastic restaurant. We celebrated my wife's birthday with family. The food and service were excellent. Whenever there was a question about the menue, an expert came to the table to assist. We started with bar-bites and drinks at the bar. The happy hour prices and the outstanding bar bites were absolutely excellent. The tastes and presentations of the bar-bites were excellent. The bartender was helpful in recommending dishes and drinks to match. The blue point oysters are my favorite as an appetizer and were chilled to perfection and melted in your mouth. The bone-in ribeyes and salmon were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chocolate cake will feed the table."

"Paid a 2nd visit to Stephane's--this time for lunch. Still had a warm greeting at the door even if Stephane wasn't there to greet us as was the case 1st time round. Considerably less busy at lunch than dinner--the restaurant was actually quiet until a family with a bunch of kids was placed at the table next to us (common sense folks, not a restaurant for kids). Cause of the lack of clientele, A/C & lights up instead of dimmed, the ambiance & the romantic mood of the restaurant seemed gone & left me cold. Our waiter was obviously new, not very well trained sort of forgot about us at the end of the meal but was pleasant enough. 1 thing that hasn't changed is the food though--Magnifique! Love those mussels--keep up the great work, chef!"

"Food and service were very good. Would go back for Monday night mussel special or happy hour but not for a regular dinner as it is very pricey. Example.........my girlfriend ordered scallops which came with an asparagus risotto. The dish was very good but to pay $39 for 4 scallops, that were not that large, was way out of line."

"This was our second time at Stephane's Restaurant. The first time, it had just opened, so we crossed that experience off the list. Last weekend, it was a Saturday night and about 2/3 full when we arrived at 7:00PM and less so at 8:30PM. We were not rushed, the service was great, the ambiance is very nice.
We had French Onion soup which was good, not great. We had crab cakes which were supposed to have a remoulade sauce. The sauce was not like any remoulade I'd ever tasted and was very sparse on the plate. The crab cakes were very tiny. It was OK. The Duck L'Orange was small in size and the sauce was almost non-existent. We were surrounded with poorly-dressed "rich" folk who spent quite a bit of money and though themselves "cool.""

"Food was good, service was up to par. The I-pad menu was a little awkward but they did provide paper menus. I know it is very hip right now to bring your dog to dine with you at a restaurant, but I personally find it offensive. I like dogs, but not while I am dining out."
