"I went with a few of my girlfriends before a show on Friday night, out waiter was so so nice and funny(wish I could remember his name). Our appetizers were delicious especially the melon wrapped with prosciutto so delicious. Our entrees were huge not one of use finished. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for date night or a girls night out. The prices were great too!"

"We enjoyed a very good meal at La Fourno. The restaurant is unpretentious and bustling with energy. The staff very friendly and responsive, including the owner who seated us. The farinatta bread accompanying the meal was delicious, and the special stuffed eggplant and Pollo Valdostana were excellent, as well. The side salads accompanying these main courses were unremarkable, but the desserts made up for this fact - a special Italian lemon cake and the homemade cannoli were great. In addition, the bottled wine selection is very good - we enjoyed a very nice Barbera wine with our meal. While easy to find the restaurant on South Street, the parking in the area is sometimes tricky, and one should plan ahead for this fact."

"Crostini was crisp and flavorful. My wife's fish was cooked well, but my lobster ravioli tasted like it never saw a lobster. Wine list is small but reasonably priced. Pretty good, but not high end Italian cuisine."

"We decided to try LaFuorno because we were going to a show a few blocks away (Society Hill Playhouse) and we could park our car and walk to both places. We thought we allowed ourselves enough time, but the traffic was terrible. We got to the restaurant late, but they were so accommodating and made sure we got to our show on time. They even offered a 10% discount because we were going to the show. (We weren't aware of the promotion) The food was great, the service even better! We'll be back!"
