"This restaurant has a nice ambience and the food is delicious. The entrees are creative and clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients and always fantastic! This is a great place for foodies or for those who simply enjoy good traditional Italian food. We are thankful that we were introduced to this gem as an introduction to Sea Isle and have shared it with friends since. Basilicos is consistently impressive...we look forward to our next visit!"

"As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile and hello. The place is usually crowded, so reservations are recommended. It is a BYOB establishment, which is fine with my friends and I, we are wine drinkers, so it appeals to us.
Now to the delicious food. We have been there multiple times, and have never had a bad meal. I have had fish, pasta, and even pizza, all seasoned to perfection, even the bread is good. The appetizer this week was roasted peppers and mozzeralla drizzled in balsamic vinegar, OMG great! My absolute favorite is linguine with crabmeat, they do not skimp on the crab either...very good!

"I love the warm friendly atmosphere of Basilico's - immediately upon arrival you are made to feel welcome and at home - like part of the family!! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed the food - from the zesty dipping oil that comes with the bread and the homemade sweet Vidalia onion vinaigrette dressing served with the family style salad to our entrees - especially the ravioli Anne Marie and the veal bruschetta! The portions were generous without being over the top and the prices are very reasonable - especially considering the quality of the dishes served. I am a fan - I want to return to try other entrees - especially the Veal Basilico's!!"

"I decided to try a different dish - veal bracciolle. That was a mistake. I have never had meat placed in the middle of mashed potatoes. The veal was a bit tough and the sauce was unremarkable. Will not order that again. My wife ordered eggplant parmigiana. Much better although she claimed the sauce to be a bit "acidy".The anti pasta and terra mirsu (sp?) were fair. Finding quality restaurants, especially Italian, in Cape May County, has been a challenge. We will return to Basilicos someday. We now know what NOT to order. This restaurant has had excellent reviews so,it is with a bit of trepidation, that I report a less than glorious experience."
