"very disappointed at cafe Felix. We happened to be there over restaurant week, when a friend asked for the menu she was told, "yeah, maybe, I'm not sure" Clearly, staff was not trained to tell guests if the regular menu was available. Waitress came back saying no. After placing our orders and eating out first course,
Man behind me has a complete different menu, and a pizza was later served!
This made my friends and I upset to see others eating meals that were not on our restaurant week menu.
And a staff that cleans them. I enjoy dining out a lot in Ann Arbor, but i think I will be staying with restaurants such as west end and chop house. They didn't even offer my friend a simple salad option! When she asked, shocking!"

"We went to Cafe Felix on the 1st night of Restaurant Week, and the place was almost empty. For much of the time we were there, we were the only people in the dining room and there was no one at the bar. The appetizers were good, the entrees mediocre and the desserts fair. My husband had the steak frites entree; it was overcooked and the fries were not crisp. I had the salmon pave; it was a VERY small portion and it too was overcooked. We will not go again."

"Wow! My husband and I enjoyed what was most likely the best lunch we have ever had in our lives at Café Felix this past Saturday.
The food was incredibly well prepared and delicious. I had the French Onion Soup was even better than I've had in France! My husband raved about his Crab Cakes and Croque Madame. I also had the Salmon Crepes - divine! The service was very attentive and friendly. We will be back very soon...and often!"

"We were in Ann Arbor for UM graduation, a very busy weekend. We had reservations for Sunday brunch and were seated immediately upon arrival. We chose to sit outside; tables are on the wide sidewalk, so not a particularly scenic view, but good people watching. The breakfast buffet was good, but not outstanding. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Would not necessarily go there for a "special" day out, but this was a good way to end our weekend."

"The outdoor seating was great and well maintained. Unfortunately it appeared that there was only one server for the entire outdoor area, roughly 8-10 tables while I was dining, which meant time between courses was stretched out a bit longer than expected. Server was friendly but at times rushed due to the amount of tables she had at once. Wine list was great but the wine presentation and wine service was poor. All around good, but nothing to write home about."

"I had a great dinner at Cafe Felix. I had never been to that restaurant before, but regularly visit lots of Ann Arbor's best. Cafe Felix now holds a place at the top of my personal list and I will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends as a place to go for special occasions. "My first dining experience here and it was great! Food was fresh and appropriately portioned. Desserts were amazing. Got lucky as it was Saturday night and the noise level was very low (and most tables were filled). I accidentally left the restaurant with the merchant's copy of the receipt. The restaurant kindly telephoned me to ask permission to charge my credit card as they didn't want to do that without my approval. Now that's service! I'll be back to Cafe Felix soon!!!"

"Pretty Good service. Have to say I was moderately impressed.. Food was alright to say the least. I had a good time. Girlfriends birthday! Gave her a diamond necklace. She loved it!! Not much the place to be dropped off by Limo. Be good for a lunch or evening drink with some food. Fun time!!"

"The ambiance at Cafe Felix is warm and charming; it feels very European. We were seated by the window, giving us a nice streetscape view. The service was friendly and attentive. My husband ordered a martini , which he proclaimed excellent, and I tried an unusual wine (Picpoul de Pinet) which is now my favorite white. Our entrees included scallops, which were tender and moist with a crisp golden sear, and duck breast with caramelized apples and cauliflower "risotto" -- also delectable. The only complaint of the evening was that my husband's potato side dish was not piping hot. Aside from that, it was one of the most satisfying restaurant meals we've had for a long time."

For dessert my date had the nutella banana crepe and I, my all time favorite, tiramisu. Over all a perfect "getting serious" or special romantic occasion date night. My date this night just so happened to be one of my best friends which worked out for a lovely "grown up" girls night out."
