"Wife and I were there recently. Really good food, cool and quiet in back courtyard area outside. Setting would have been great were it not for the green bud light umbrella's. Just did not match the rest of the scene at all! Great service, great food but a bit pricey for what you get. $33 for a fairly thin ribeye, with only side of asparagus? I buy and grill ribeye's twice as thick from Sam's Club at home, and just as tasty!
Had to pay another $8 for a side of whipped potatoes and pay another $8 for a good, but very small caesar salad. Found that a bit ridiculous, but still enjoyed the night. With so many phenomenal restaurants in Charleston, I am not sure I would go back until they drop those prices a bit."

"We had last minute out of town guests from NYC and this was one of the few reservations we could locate. What a nice surprise. The gorgonzola mac and cheese was great! Everyone enjoyed their meals and had dessert. Would recommend the flourless chocolate cake. Mixed drinks were a little pricey though."

"friendly, professional staff, outdoor dining in a quaint and charming courtyard setting, pleasant music in the background, delicious options from cocktails, appetizers, entrees and even dessert. As a local I would DEFINITELY return for a romantic dinner. Not your "average" restaurant option and just blocks away from the hustle and bustle that Market St. and neighboring touristy streets sometimes represent on a busy weekend in Charleston."

"This is my second time to eat Dinner here. The food was good but nothing special like I was expecting from my first experience. The service from our waitress was so-so. She was nice. We ordered a shrimp cocktail appetizer (delicious) and she brought it to the table in a hurry and set it down and walked off...BEFORE we could get her attention to ask for SILVER WARE AND NAPKINS. I eventually had to flag down a waiter at an adjacent table to ask him to have her bring it to us. I ordered a glass of wine and it took more than 5 min to get it and the returaunt was not busy on this Tuesday night... I like Eli's Table and will go back...I just hope I get a server who has been trained properly enough to work in a place like this."

"We went here for dinner on our little getaway weekend in Charleston. Hard to tell from trying to look it up but the place is clean and inviting, white tablecloths, nice little bar, helpful staff, ect. The bartender was great as we had a drink before being seated. Looking over the menu I was disappointed that all the prices were higher than what was online. They also had substituted TWO of their FOUR entrees for other dishes that just did not sound as good as what I had my heart set on from the menu. I heard similar 'Awws..' and sad sounds from other patrons as the servers broke the news. Our dishes were just okay...not really 'good'. I had the pasta and have had better at 'any chain restaurant'. Maybe wait until they iron out the menu...."

"Overall good food! My husband loved his Tasso pasta dish! Ioved the mozzarella tomato and pesto on crusty bread for an appetizer. I had a salad entree with shrimp. The portion was small i started eating some of his pasta because i was still hungry! The waitress was very friendly and efficient. I would recommend but don't order the salad if you are expecting to make a meal of it. The courtyard was lovely!"

"Although the menu is not overly extensive, the items that are on the menu are wry well done. I went with my mom, who is an incredibly picky eater. There was only 1 item on the menu that she would even be able to order (roasted lemon chicken), not including sides, so I was nervous about her liking the food - she ate every bite and absolutely LOVED it! My only complaint was that the service was overly slow. I think they were trying not to be too intrusive, but even for someone who is relatively patient, it was a bit over-the-top in terms. Overall, it was a very good dining experience, and I have already recommended it to friends."

"This is my first negative review on a restaurant. This was the worst dining experience I have had in Charleston. To begin, the hectic nature of the staff suggests that no experience was required to work there. The prices online are significantly less than in the restaurant. The ribeye for example is $22 online ant $30 there."

"Overall, I was not impressed with Eli's Table. We had been here before for brunch which was good, so we decided to try dinner. The service was poor and our waiter was inattentive and seemed unfamiliar with the menu. The restaurant was out of multiple items, and we had to change two items we ordered. The food was fine, but the overall experience left much to be desired. I think there are better places to dine in Charleston in this price/type of restaurant."

"Great location and outdoor area. Food, especially after the recent price increases (to $24-32 per entree) was ridiculously overpriced. Probably would have been a reasonable $18-22 per plate place, but new prices are disproportionately hight for the quality. Food was reasonably tasty, but nothing that would compel you to go back. The truffle "pomme frites" were a bit insulting for $7 as they were frozen french fries tossed in cajun seasoning and truffle oil. Not a terrible place to go, but you can find better value elsewhere in Charleston."

"I booked on line with Open Table about 45 minutes before we arrived. On arrival we were told that they were overbooked. They did manage to seat us, but very close to the door. They were out of several menu items. However, the meal we had was quite good. Service was slow, but fortunately we were not in any hurry. It seems that they need to have better control on their reservation procedure as well as their properly ensuring basic menu choices (Chicken, two appetizers an two desserts were unavailable."

"The hostesses were very friendly. We felt to be a nuisance to our waitress, everything about her was rushed, but not when it came to waiting on us, had to go find sugar for our coffee at another table. The gentleman who was waiting on the tables across from us seemed so friendly and happy, I was tempted to tip him instead. The food was plenty, but not outstanding. Beignets were not light, melt-in-your mouth kind we expected, I think they may have even been a little underdone in the middle, Pancakes were good, Cheddar Omelet was huge, but egg part was dry, not fluffy and the cheese was stuck in the middle in one giant glob. Classic Benedict was good."

"Our meal started off with the overly talkative manager, who hung out way too long and admittied to sipping on Jamesons whisky in the office. The office door was a carousel of staff going in and out. The wine that we had ordered, cld not be found. Bummer but not a deal breaker. The deal breaker came when our server served us the exact same meal. I clearly stated that my girl (love) and I would be sharing our entrees and I ordered the salmon. Our server said she did not like this dish. Coincidence maybe?
2 Striped bass entrees showed up. Instead of the server saying I am sorry, I will fix this.

"Eli’s Table is just around the corner from the Queen Street establishments that draw most of the attention...a very pleasant surprise! Arrived 15 mins before our 7pm rsvp. Waiting to be seated for about 5 mins, we were presented with glasses of champagne, and told our table would be ready shortly. Nice touch considering we were early. Seated at 6:58pm, still sipping champagne. Order pinot and cabernet sauvignon, and the shrimp and grit cake for app. Nicely done, great ham-and-tasso gravy. Main course Cajun ribeye for myself, bone-in pork chop for my girlfriend with garlic mash for the table. Ribeye good, porkchop was GREAT, cooked to PERFECTION. Overall enjoyable time, nice atmosphere, good service, awesome food. Impressed enough to return!"
