"We went following OSU's graduation and my daughter (the graduate) picked out. We had 10 people and we were served at our pace with fantastic food. I always say that the food can be wonderful, but if yoiu have a bad server it is a bad experience. None of us had been here and it was a place that we would love to return again."

"It was hard to decide what to order there were so many items that were interesting. The eggplant parmesan was healthy, beautifully presented, nice portion size. The shared order of seafood misto was well prepared and very lightly tossed with sauce.

"We came across this restaurant in March, on our last trip to Columbus. We didn't get to try it out, as time didn't permit, and we were happy to see they were opening on the Sunday of our son's graduation from Ohio State, so we snagged a res May 5th.
The drinks and winelist were not overpriced, and presentation was beautiful, from the beer glasses to the wine carafe. The appetizers were most creative, delicious, and colorful----some of the tastiest I've had, and I've always heard you cannot get good Italian food in Ohio!! We are all Italian, and were VERY pleased.
The staff were friendly, accommodating, and the service was outstanding! The menu is moderately priced, so I'm not waiting for another special occasion to go back. A+++++++++++"

"The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. Unfortunately, the food itself wawas not good (except for the chicken parm). The worst dish in our group was the eggplant parmesan. Its not prepared in the traditional way. The eggplant was cut into very thick slices and they every piece was rubbery. Two members of our party ordered it and both were the same so it wasn't just a fluke. I wish I could give them a better review, but all but one of our dishes (7 of us) were poor or disappointing."

"Columbus is not known for great restaurants and this one is no exception. When we first walked in we noticed that the beige interior decor looked home made and lacked any real design or style. The restaurant was busy and and very loud but we were greeted and seated immediately. The menu was unspectacular with basic italian dishes. The ingredients used in our dishes were fresh and well prepared. However, the food was somewhat bland and reminded me of a home cooked meal rather than a meal prepared by a gourmet kitchen.
When we visit a restaurant, we want to be wowed by our surroundings, the service and the food. The service we recieved was excellent, the interior design was disappointing, and the food is good but not great."

"I'm a bit of a regular as I simply cannot find any place in the area that compares. The food is always wonderfully fresh and delicious and the service is consistently very good. "It should not come as a surprise to those of us who love great food that Z Cucina earns high marks again after this latest dining experience.
It was a 75 Birthday celebration for long time friend and Priest Father William DeVille and we were more than pleased with the experience. We started off with two very chilled Grey Goose and a surprise cheese plate. I had a passable Espresso and sampled the great bread and olive oil dip. The entree was a wonderful stuffed ravioli that just reeked of intense flavor and zest. Coffee and the three desert sampler followed to wrap up this dining adventure. Well worth the drive from Worthington. Keep up the good work.

"Had 6:30 pm reservation. Seated about 6:45 which was no problem. Seated in heated patio. It was hit and cold inside tent. Chairs were uncomfortable. I reminded waiter to bring drink we ordered. For entree we ordered same item. Then we were told they were out of special. Food was very good and owner was aware of service issues and above and beyond to insure a good experience. Gave us complimentary appetizer, chef sent a tasting of special they were out of. Food was plated well and tasty."

"My family and I had an excellent meal! The mozzarella starter is a must (roasted tomato jam...WOW) and the pizzas/flatbreads are excellent. The only qualm was my brother thinking his meal was extremely salty but being way too bashful to ask for an alternate meal. So, his loss I guess. Best in Grandview!"

"The service was wonderful, the people were nice and welcoming and patient with us when we weren't totally sure what we wanted to order yet. They understand the local scene and and appreciate your patronage. The food is upscale Italian, and done in a way that's more unique than the regular spaghetti and meatballs that you'd get at some other Italian join. It's dark inside the restaurant with quite a few tables always seated, so it's a little loud, but the noise isn't intrusive on your dining experience."

"Very impressed, it is very rare that customer service is a focus in restaurants these days. Z went above and beyond our expectations. I had called the day before to say we were going to be late for our Valentine's day reservations and were also on a tight time schedule. When we arrived we were seated right away and our server said they were aware of our tight schedule. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The only negative was that the portions are slightly small for the price, I was fine but my hubby said he was still a little hungry. Overall it was great and I want to go back and try additional items because the menu has lots options and several dishes appealed to me."

"My friend and I had a great time...and I know a lot on their menu is higher than a 3 star. I just ordered the eggplant parm, which was overly gooey in cheese, and a tad undercooked eggplant slices, due to uneven slices, one being so thick it never cooked properly, which with eggplant really doesn't work. Overall, it was too rich with all that was put in it, but the sauce was quite tasty. Wine was very nice andservice was fabulous. The atmospere on the dining room side is very nice, bar side a little less. I will definitely be back."

"first time here - took the wife and kids (6 and 9) - all picky eaters - they loved the place. Menu is amazing had feel good favorites mixed with unique cuisine. Also wife is veggie only and the menu with filled with options - food was excellent and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. I would highly recommend and will go back."
