The talented staff at Mrs G and Me use only the finest and freshest ingredients available in the preparation of all menu items and daily specials – all of which are made from scratch and cooked to order. We make it all fresh - from soups to salad dressings and right down to our blackening spice!
We try to use pepper, herbs and spices rather than salt to flavor our foods. That doesn’t mean we don’t use salt, but we use sea salt and keep its usage to a minimum. Did you know that over 90% of the minerals found in sea salt are present in the body? Using sea salt actually helps re-mineralize your body.
Need a quiet and private place to meet? Our atmosphere lends itself particularly well for private conversation if required. Ask for a larger table and spread out a bit – we will accommodate. Relax, take care of your business and leave the rest to us.
"We always enjoy Mrs. G and me, food is always fresh, portions very appropriate, service always good. A great place if you are going to the Play House!"

"Trouble with the waitstaff / kitchen this night (not sure what was going on) - the owner came in and he went from table to table apologizing for the slow service. It's not a large restaurant but pretty busy and although we had a reservation, the hostess said "the computer was down" and they hadn't reserved a table and we could either wait or be seated right by the front door. Because we came in a bit later than most (apparently), our food came out in a timely manner and we enjoyed it."

"We've been to Mrs. G before and, regretfully, had very bad service. This time we had a stellar waitress--and the food was wonderful. If you go, and it's a romantic occasion, ask for the elevated table in the front window--nice location."

"My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day dinner at the restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the crab dip and bread, but be prepared to order something from the lighter fare. Our waiter was most informative on the foods offered by the restaurant. The quiche was outstanding. If you like more of an Indian flair, go for the curry chicken. Will definitely return!"

"the service was so slow and spotty that by the time we got our food (more than an hour after we sat down) I was focused on getting to our theatre date on time and bolted it down. The food was mediocre. I have eaten here before and it has gone downhill. I believe they try to offer too many choices on the menu and the chef just can't deliver. They desperately need to update the place as well. Dingy wall to wall carpet is just depressing."
