"I was disappointed with the atmosphere. It reeked of marijuna. I came on a Tuesday and had hoped to avoid the noise and crowds, but did not. The service was excellent and the food was good, but would I come again....I could not really say."

"Food was great. Had the $50 dinner package great value includes vip seating for the show. The only con would be gratuity on the dinner packages is added to bill. I like to decide my own amount for service."

Review 5 for Crossroads at House of Blues - Los Angeles
"While the atmosphere was great, the service was absolutely terrible and the food was just ok. The food did not seem worth the higher price tag. One of our dishes was not as ordered and when we told our waitress she was rude and defensive. We didn't get the missing portion until we were almost finished with the rest of the meal."

Review 6 for Crossroads at House of Blues - Los Angeles
"A little loud for my liking, but it's a concert venue so that's to be expected. We go there because the wife loves the Voodoo Shrimp. I had tacos and they were OK. It's convenient to dine there before a show because you get to "bypass the line" and enter the venue directly from the restaurant."

"Had reservations, changed them 3 times in traffic. Host had no problem with it. sat down, was greated by ever employee with a smile. Kind of surprised, hollywood tends to play with an attitude. Very pleasant, Waitress was awesome, great service, fast service, I was very surprised to be treated so well."

"We heard that they did change chefs and menu somewhat. We were very disappointed with the food and the area for dining. We went for Valintines day and was not special at all."

Review 14 for Crossroads at House of Blues - Los Angeles
"The girlfriend and I went here on a Saturday night before a recent Santigold show. One huge benefit, not to be overlooked, is you get to skip the line, and go right to the front if you are eating. That in itself can make it worth it. As for the dining, it's good, nothing really memorable about it though. I had the Shrimp and grits; the grits were served as a cake, and tasty, the shrimp were cooked really well, the cream sauce however became a little overwhelming, and heavy after a few bites. My gf had the etoufee which was really good with just the right amount of heat to it. This was part of a seasonal Mardi Gras menu, so I don't know how often they have it. Desert we split a bread pudding, which was pretty good, but, very dense, and heavy"

Review 15 for Crossroads at House of Blues - Los Angeles
"The food was terrible. The hostess rude. The server nice but more helpful to the groups and couples and not the single female diner. I still gave her more than a 20% tip because I know that is how they make money."

"Going to a club...don't expect to eat great food in a clean environment. But this place was really great...I'd go just for the food (but for the valet parking fee of $15)."

"Got seated as soon as the restaurant opened - OpenTable was great for booking our reservation. The "pass the line" wasn't as great as we'd hoped - the venue was PACKED by the time we got inside. Overall a good experience."

Review 19 for Crossroads at House of Blues - Los Angeles
"It was terribly loud which was to be somewhat expected but the music was way too high making everyone in the bar scream to talk to each other. Some of the food ordered was good, Shrimp and grits while some of the others, Jambalya, pasta tasted straight out of a can. Service was cool but had to wait an hour between ordering drinks and our food as the waiter was busy. I'd go back on a week night to actually see the venue but not for anything else."

Review 21 for Crossroads at House of Blues - Los Angeles
"While I've been to several House of Blues locations previously, I've never been to their Crossroads restaurant. A buddy of mine and I had tickets to see a show there and he suggested the restaurant, which turned out to be a great idea being as we could eat there then just head downstairs to the show when we were ready.
The food was good. We had the quesadilla starter with came with a salsa that had a real kick. I had the shrimp po' boy. That was good. But he had the lobster mac and cheese which was EXCELLENT!
Price-wise, it was a tad expensive for what it was, but not terrible.
Reservation recommended."
