"We had mother's day brunch and it was wonderful... loved that you had a small buffet of yummy items, then got to pick an entree. The food never disappoints. We'll be back!"

"We've been to this restaurant several times now and haven't had a bad meal yet! The menu changes frequently to reflect what's in season. There's always a good variety to choose from, whether I'm in the mood for lamb or seafood or a burger. Always good sides."

"My husband is a good cook -- and a tad Scottish stingy. So getting him out to eat in and of itself is a challenge. Before we had even ordered at Table 926 on May 5, he had declared that he "loved this place" based on the low noise level, simple decor, chalkboard specials and local-hits beer list. He and our Cordon Bleu-trained friend both ordered pig cheeks on grits and cleaned their plates. We loved the roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer, too. And when our waiter realized he'd entered the wrong item for one in our party, the kitchen recovered double-time, comped the dish, and threw in a dessert, too. Great service, great ambiance, great food -- and a check my hubby has happy to pick up for our party of four.
Table 926 is a gem.."

"I just ate my third dinner there. I've had a smile on my face and a full tummy each time I've left. The menu changes often, the staff is wonderful and we always go early so parking is never a problem."

"We were impressed by the clean upscale feel of this neighborhood eatery in North Pacific Beach. As it is within walking distance of our home, we had to give it a try. The service was excellent , yet casual. However, considering the prices, the food should have been better. I had the lamb sausage and artichoke hearts, mixed in a penne pasta. It was surprisingly bland. My wife did much better in ordering the pork tenderloin but it was not a dish to celebrate. This local place has a lot of potential and I wish them well if they intend to bring the food in line with the cool ambiance and excellent service."

"We reserved very early on a Wed (6 pm) in order to have a quiet meal. Food was good as usual, service attentive, but to our surprise a live singer came on at 6 pm, very very loud, much too loud for the genre and the venue, which is all hard surfaces. He wasn't bad, but the sound level was so high that it made the meal positively unpleasant. We asked politely if they could turn the sound down a little, but they actually turned it up. Check the entertainment schedule before you go if you want to hear yourself think."

"What a find! Food was fresh and imaginative, prices reasonable + great service. Our kids enjoyed themselves too. We had an early dinner, perhaps wouldn't take kids for a late night dinner out of courtesy to others as the place would be great for a date night too. One of the highlights of our visit to San Diego!"

"We've only been here twice, but both themes the food was spectacular. This latest time we brought a friend from France who has travelled the world and he was impressed and delighted with his meal. He practically licked the plates. We all did! And we just happened to be there on 1/2 price wine night, so that was a total bonus. Not much to look at from the outside but stylish on the inside."

"I've been here twice now. The presentation of the food is beautiful, and wait staff incredibly friendly, but it's missed the mark just slightly for anyone who's an extreme foodie. The lamb ragu lacked in flavor and the chicken and spatzle dish, while yummy, was borderline too salty. I think they're trying hard and are on the right track. Some minor tweaking and this will be a real hidden, classy gem in the heart of PB."

"Table 926 is a gourmand's delight, with very good food, a pleasant table layout, exceptional service that is attentive-but-subtle, at a reasonable price. The chef has a refined method of cooking seafood, not too dry, not too raw, not too chewy, but balanced in flavor and texture. A great restaurant for Pacific Beach."

"This is a great little restaurant that has very good food! The wine list is simple, but good. The challenge is that the menu is all fresh and runs out quickly. Therefore, order fast! Overall, this is a wonderful little spot worth trying. It's one of my favorite in San Diego."

"This was the second visit to Table 926. Its a nice dinner for a Saturday evening. They range in price from $20 to $30 for an entree. The inside is very nice, the lighting is a little weird. We sat in a two top table almost dead center of the restuarant and there were these lights shining straight into my eyes. Lighting does a lot and I feel if they warmed the lighting a bit it wouldn't feel so harsh. The food was good, cooked well, although the sauce on my chicken was a little on the salty side. but the chicken itself was cooked perfect as were the veggies. My fiance had the pork cheeks, didn't need a knife to cut them, he had no complaints. Best part the wine pour was very generous! :)"

"A great find. Original but not silly menu, well-made food, fresh and healthy alternatives, generous portions, fantastic friendly service, excellent desserts. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was great (no kidding). Some parking on site and more on the street. Hard to see sign - look for it! The restaurant is at the back of the parking lot. We will definitely go back. If driving from La Jolla, think about using an alternative to 5. Traffic at the Garnet Ave exit at rush/dinner hour can be bad. We took city streets back and it was a nice, short drive. We'll take city streets next time."

"Had the Lamb Ragu Pasta and the Pork Cheeks, both were delicious and highly recommended! The appetizer special was a little a boring and bland (Chick Peas two-ways) but the wine was great (Had their house Malbec and Pinot Noir). Everyone was attentive and friendly, awesome decor with the wine bottle wall and had a very neighborhood yet modern feel!
Will definitely come back!"

"How do you run out of salmon at 7:15 on a Saturday night, especially when you have a small menu? We were a group of six, and one was a non meat eater. The waiter should have offered to speak to the chef to come up with something comprised of grains and vegetables. Instead the waiter gave us a card about where the salmon came from and why they ran out. Not good! Not coming back!"

"Went to celebrate a late V-Day dinner (we were both out of town on the 14th). Took 15 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation & showed up on time. Took another 20 minutes before our waiter/waitress came by to say 'hi' & take our order. We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees. I ordered the steak and by the time it came (another 25 minutes after we had finished our appatizers) the whole plate was lukewarm. I was too hungry to send it back & am not the type to cause a scene so I finished half & took it home. Once properly heated the food was pretty good. Overall, took just over 2 hours to get dinner for 2. Would not recommend to friends."

"I really love this restaurant. We've gone several times, and have never been disappointed. The service is outstanding. The menu is a little limited, but the kitchen is able to focus on serving up quality food. There are always specials, as well. Unfortunately, the wine prices have gone up and are becoming a bit expensive compared to retail prices for the wines. Gouging customers on wine, especially those who may not know what the prices should be, is disappointing for this little gem."

"I was very happy to find this place. The service is excellent. I enjoyed the empanadas and the boyfriend ordered the pork cheek which was delicious. I ordered the gnocchi , which was ok. It wasn't my favorite gnocchi ever. All in all a very nice experience. I would most certainly come back."

"4 of us went on Sat night at 6:30. It was empty and got best corner table. Ordered duck tacos,(ask for 4 instead of usual 3), brussel sprouts and clams. All delicious. Sop up clam herbal broth with bread! Specials that night in addition to regular menu posted on-line. Got the steak and mushroom bread pudding, steak frites, lamb riblets, pork Osso Bucco and duck sausage. Loved all but the pork itself. It was just ok. (I normally love Osso Bucco.) Winter pudding for dessert a perfect ending. I was concerned about some Yelpers I had read - wonder now who they were, competition from the neighborhood? The prices are fair, and if you go with 3 or 4 people, get a few plates and share! By 9:00 it was packed. Great service."
