The long anticipated re-opening of downtown favorite tazza is here. The comfort chic space houses a soft glow from organically inspired chandeliers that illuminate massive communal tables of reclaimed wood to symbolize tazza’s belief that community is the cornerstone to all successful establishments. During the day, tazza will have a separate lunch menu, along with the new tazza plates and dinner menus. Brunch will be served on weekends.

"Our group ordered a variety of appetizers, small plates and larger plates. Some were exceptionally good (eggplant, golden beats, lamb) while some were bland (chicken tacos) and badly cooked (note to chef: tortillas in the chicken tacos should not be the same thickness and consistency as breakfast pancakes. Also creme brulle should not resemble yogurt). The Coctails were excellent and very creative. They were not especially busy, however service was slow. The waiter seemed to want to dash away the second we placed a single order and we had to stop him a couple times to let him know that we had more than 1 person who wanted something. Finding him to get something was a challenge. Dinner took 2.5 hours (slow) mostly due to the service."

"Eating at Tazza was an over all great experience. I would go back again but when I make the reservations I will request a booth or that they change the chairs that were at our table. No one in our party were large people but the stools had a small seat and were metal. They were hard to sit on with out feeling like you were falling off and they were cold. We changed them for the bar stool and were much more comfortable.
Food was great.
Service were also great"

"Have been here for both drinks and brunch. Drinks are average, the place is livelier at night. When I went for brunch everyone's food in my party was completely cold...as if it had been sitting for 20+ minutes somewhere. This is completely unacceptable at a restaurant and I will probably never return."

"Fantastic service, a really hip vibe and delicious food are what this neighborhood Gem are all about. Fresh strawberries and bananas on my crepe and the hash was delicious. Bloody Mary was also good, but could have used a little kick. Enjoy!"

"This was our second trip to Tazza and it blew the doors off the first experience. Our waitress was great, helpful and attentive. She was able to answer our questions about the food and drinks easily and rolled with the punches as we joked with her throughout the meal. Our food was delicious and well presented. Some of the appetizer (Tazzas) portions were a little small but our waitress did pre-warn us of that. Overall a great experience for our group of four. We'd definitely go again and recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a good well-rounded, tasty dinner experience."

"I went to Tazza with a group of friends and we really enjoyed the food. The desserts were out of this world! My only complaint is the seating. The majority of the seating is on high chairs that are metal with tiny seat bottoms that you feel like you are sliding out of. Not comfortable at all! Be sure to ask for the booth type tables when making a reservation or at least the tables with leather chairs. Those tables were all already reserved when we got there so people must have already discovered what we did about the seating. The staff was very accommodating, the service was great and I really enjoyed the food. I'd return again."

"We sat near the door on a cold night.....it was rather cold. the sea scallops were EXCELLENT! and our waitress was very good. We will be back but be sure that if it's cold to sit away from the entrance."

"We went for a pre-theater supper and the restaurant was quite empty, although it began to fill up as our dinner progressed. The food was very well prepared and the service nicely done. I found it to be a bit more expensive than I had expected given the "$$" designation on the theater's website, especially since this wasn't a particularly special occasion. We had two pasta dishes (one vegetarian and one with some crab meat), one side vegetable, one glass of wine, one soda, one dessert and one regular coffee and the bill was $76 before tip. But we were able to leave our car in the restaurant lot while we went to the theater so that was some extra value added."
