"We loved our first visit to Toscana! The caprese salad was to die for.....the chef makes his own mozzarella, and it is outstanding! The special for the evening was the filet of sole, which was deboned at the table, and served with a simply lemon/caper sauce. It was really over the top. My husband enjoyed his steamed clams and veal, and my mother-in-law loved her gorgonzola salad and rigatoni. The chef was very visible greeting guests and asking for feedback. The service was leisurely, but attentive. We are so happy that Toscana is in Ormond Beach. We recommend it highly and will definitely return."

"Absolutely loved the experience here. The place is large and nicely decorated. The waiter was attentive but not overly. The pace of the meal was perfect and the food was very, very good. We would definitely return"

"I was disappointed as this was out second visit to Toscana. When first there, they offered table side caesar salad. Our server
assured me when I returned, he would prepare our salad table side. I returned with two new guests and was anxious to enjoy a table side salad. I had expressed to them how wonderful this service was. When arriving, I was told, it was too busy to do this!
In addition, we were never told in advance that they did not provide separate checks. There was a tiny notation, located in the
middle of the menu, between entrees which was not easy to see. Our server pointed this out to us when we asked for separate
checks.
In addition, my reservation was made quite ahead, and we were seated in a very busy area ."

"We have been coming to Ormond Beach for years. This was our first time eating at Toscana. We enjoyed it so much that my wife, daughter and I came back two nights later. By far the best dining in Ormond. Food was great and our waiter Julian was terrific. The dining is more upscale so not the place for a lot of young children. We will definitely be back many times in the future! Doug Carter"

"This is one of the very best Italian restaurants in Central Florida. From the moment we entered the dining room until the moment we left,everything was organized to make the meal,the wine and the service a memorable experience. "My husband and I, along with another couple, dined here for the first time recently. I had the shrimp fra diavolo and the others all had a special, which was the peschiatore (pasta with a variety of shellfish). Everyone loved their meal. We also thought the prices were very reasonable. Our waiter, Mario, was excellent and we will definitely request him next time."

"We went to Toscana Saturday night March 16th with friends that were visiting from New York. All four of us loved our meal. The comment from my New York friends was that this meal was as good as any good restaurant in New York. Former New Yorkers, we felt that way about our meal as well. I have spread the good news about Toscana to all of my friends who enjoy good culinary cusine. We hope the quality of food and service remains and that Toscana is around for a very long time. So nice to have a good restaurant nearby.

"Overall, the four of us were impressed with our entire experience at Toscanos. We rank it in the same category as Rose Villa. The staff went out of their way to assure we were pleased with our entire experience. It is not cheap so bargain hunters should not plan a visit. They say you get what you pay for and we certainly did. Well worth the price.

"I went to this restaurant at it's old location and this place is a nice step up from that. Although they remodeled this place for the move it could have been better. Booths, for one thing, would help a lot. Also, there was no music so when most of the tables around us were empty you felt like you had to whisper. That really stole from the ambiance. However, the most disappointing part was the service, or rather, lack thereof. It was valentines day night, so they were rather busy, But, they knew that and were simply understaffed. We waited for over ten minutes before anyone came to our table after we were seated and there were long gaps between times we saw our server after that. Address those issues and then I'd say try it."

"This was the first time we visited Toscana. We brought our in-laws, celebrating their 66 wedding anniversay. The service was impeccable and unhurried. The food was notable for the area, and this is said by an Italian-American from Brooklyn! I'd recommend it with few reservations."
