We are New York. This is the whole world tucked into a corner table. This is where you come to feel welcome, appreciated exactly as you are and waited on with grace and respect. Our staff makes certain you are always taken care of; that you are served the drink you were craving and plates of lovingly crafted food. Food inspired by the generations who came before you, and elevated for more nuance on the palate while staying grounded to the soul.
"While the food was pretty good the following was not appreciated: a wine selection was not available. They mixed up the "doggy bags" for my friend and myself, which meant I ended up with a meal at home I did not want. In addition there were 2 rather large groups which were extremely noisy, which made conversation challenging."

"Prandial is a curious spot. Ad to be honest I can't quite future it out. A large bar area filled with locals watching basketball in flat screen TVs, sits alongside a raised dining area of comfortable booths and tables situated spaciously. When I entered, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Rolling Stones were playing loudly over the sound system. I was completely confused as to what vibe the owners were trying to obtain.
That said, the food was excellent. Grilled Octopus appetizer. Tender, sumptuous Short Ribs. A nice wine list. Perhaps it just a quirky rock and roll chef. I don't know. But the food was good enough that I will likely make a return visit. And perhaps Prandial will become the neighborhod locals restaurant it seems to want to be."

"Everything was just ok... nothing was great although the space is very attractive and well styled. There are too many better restaurants n NYC so this place will have to work much harder at making better food and improving service if they want to survive."

"Even though the waiter got one of the appetizers wrong, this was a pleasant experience. Nice atmosphere, good food, friendly staff. The owner comped the appetizer and was very apologetic. We'll go again!"

"It seems like Prandial has yet to be discovered as we went on a Friday night and it was not too busy. Great cocktails and decent wine list. Food was outstanding! The cockles and chorizo were the highlight, but the roast chicken and short ribs were also extremely tasty. Overall, it's a great date spot and we'll be back again soon."

"Welcoming, anxious-to-please staff and really great food. I particularly recommend the smoked pork chop; we had expected something like traditional German Kaessler Ripchen, but what we got was a deliciously complex blend of subtle smoke, a touch of spicy bite, and a balance of other flavors. All of the dishes showed similar signs of inspired conception and skillful preparation.
The ambience was bright and cheerful but never became obnoxiously loud."

"Our group enjoyed a great evening with tasty bar menu bites and thanks to our UD perks unlimited drinks with fantastic service. The place has an old 50s kind of appeal and great location. Highly recommend."

"We were here on a sort of off night since it was pretty empty. The food was good although the portions of the appetizers weren't as appetizing as they should have been. The drinks were good but they kept running out of drink ingredients on a Friday night in an empty place...perplexing."

"This place was horrid. We both left food behind as it wasn't worth the calories to finish our meals. The space is huge, by NYC standards, and souless. The bar seems pleasant but don't was your time eating here as there are so many wonderful places in Flatiron that are marvelous, a couple are on the same block. This place will be closed in a year and you can try the new restaurant."

"The food was fantastic and well above expectations. There was a noisy table that was causing a bit of a ruckus but the manager even personally apologized for that later. It wasn't even that bothersome. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts flowed seamlessly and left my parents and I incredibly satisfied (and my dad's a tough one to please)."
