"Father's day brunch, nice but not special, a little on the expensive side for what you get. Eggs Benedict with crab, you wouldn't know there was crab unless you looked. Chicken sandwich was tasty, you get only 4 scallops in the scallop dish, eggs and steak was very good with satisfying portions. Side of mushrooms, pork belly, fries was really tasty."

"I ordered the chicken sandwich with a bit of trepidation. It sounded interesting; brioche bun, foie gras but in my experience chicken sandwiches, in reality, are often dry, tasteless and boring. When it came, it did look delicious. The bun was warm, the foie gras was in a sauce spread over the chicken. I took a bite and I was in heaven. The flavors were wonderful and I can honestly say that I have never had such tender, juicy chicken on a sandwich! When I mentioned this to the staff they said I must come back and try the roast chicken. I can't wait!"

"Dinner at The NoMad is an unbelievably fantastic experience. The food from the small bites, like delicious sweet breads, to the main courses like luxorious lobster, are simply delicous, exciting food that you will remember for a long time. There are also many fantastic vegetarian plates. Service is very gracious, friendly and accomodating. The wine list is filled with special bottles and the sommeliers make perfect recommendations. The rooms are gorgeous and tables are not too close. In sum, this is a heavenly NYC diniing experience that is not to be missed!"

"My husband and I went to The NoMad on a Friday for lunch to celebrate his birthday, we thought the atrium was great, the food was interesting and good quality without being to over the top. The service staff seemed a little inexperienced for this level of dining , we were ordering wines by the glass so that we could match them to our course and we kept having to wait with our food in front of us for the drinks to be served. We would definitely go back for the food and drinks at the bar."

"Had to make do with a 5.45 reservation as I was only in NY for a week and "only" booked 4 weeks in advance. But was glad I went for the earlier-than-usual time. Food is very good, the service is good without being stuffy and the general setting is wonderful.
In particular, the sommelier gave us excellent and welcome advice on pairing our food selection with wine.
My starter of lamb sweetbreads was both delicious and delicate on the palate. For main we had the much vaunted roast chicken. While it was indeed outstanding, I felt the sauce had just a little too much cheese, and the garlic foam on the shredded brown meat a little overpowering ... but I am nit-picking ..."

"After a few months of not having the now famous roasted chicken at NoMad, I returned and was not disappointed. It is a brilliant idea and the result remains stunningly delicious. And the Meyer lemon tagliatelle with King Crab should be an equally famous dish. It is vibrant and absolutely basic, like the best pasta dishes are. So, I shall return again and again. It helps that the service is spot on and the place welcoming."

"11 Madison Park has been rated as the nr. 5 in the World, unfortunately we were not able to get a table so we book the NoMad and the chef there is as well Daniel Humm. The wine list is very good but could be better, service was very good. The appetizer was superb and the main course (chicken) unfortunately was a bit to dry, due to the fact that it took them 10 minutes to prepare it after the showed it to us. Dessert fantastic and overall very good. It is worth a try and I will come back!"

"I requested a romantic table for our anniversary, and it was waiting when we arrived. Our waiter immediately poured us glasses of champagne on the house to celebrate our occasion. He and other staff members were impeccably attentive throughout. Food was spectacular, but be prepared to shell out big bucks. Roast Chicken, their signature dish at $79.00 for 2 people, was easily the best chicken I've eaten in my life! The Fruits De Mer "snack", $24.00 per person, was special, but too small a portion to justify the price. Complimentary rosemary bread was hot and delectable. The Milk and Honey dessert was delish!. Decor was sumptuous, but a little dark for our tastes. I highly recommend NoMad for a special occasion if price isn't an issue."

"My friend and I had late dinner there. It was very difficult to get a reservation there, so we were very excited. The place was packed, but I felt the room was a bit too dark and hard to read the menu, lol. For Entree, I had duck and my friend had pasta. The portion was a little and I just got 2 thick slice of duck. They did taste good, but nothing was special or surprised us at all. We were talking that we could find this kind of food at cheaper price at other restaurants... I may take friends who are visiting NYC there since this place is popular, but I do not think I will come back there for dinner for myself..."

"We went into the NoMad without any expectations and walked away with an amazing experience. A friend of ours had been working there after graduating from culinary school and so we decided to stop by while in NYC. We started off with a few soft cocktails (non-alcoholic) with turned about to be very delicious. When we ordered the appetizers, our order was mixed up, but the server fixed the problem right away. We had ordered the Fluke, Lamb, and Beef Tartare, all of which were excellent. For the main course, we had the Suckling Pig Confit, Duck, and Scallop dishes. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the duck was also nice and moist. The pork was a bit unexpected, but very delicious. A great evening all around!"

"The NoMad is one of the best restaurants in the City. As it becomes more known, reservations will be increasingly difficult. Go while you can. Sweetbread appetizer (sweetbreads in spring rolls) was delicious and unique, as was the suckling pig done two ways."

"Planned a romantic get-away to NYC and chose to stay at the Nomad. While planning dining options for each night of our stay, we considered the Nomad restaurant for one of the nights. The menu item most frequently referenced in reviews was the Roasted Chicken for Two. So we had to try it. We started with the Tagliatelle with king crab. The pasta was fresh and the sauce tangy, light and flavorful. Then came the chicken shown to us whole prior to carving. Beautifully roasted. Juicy, flavorful and delicious. Foi gras and black truffle under the breast skin. The dark meat served in a separate vessel and swimming in a creamy sauce with flavors of sour cream, heavy cream and herbs. Carrot cake dessert was less impressive."

"Very classy romantic restaurant in the middle of busy NYC. When inside I forgot what city I was in. The food portions however were very small but excellent quantity. Luckily we had a late lunch so it wasn't that bad. But don't go hungry"

"My husband and I have had dinner a couple of times at NoMad and been very pleased with the experience, so we decided to try brunch, and we're glad that we did. They offer a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items and the food is as wonderful as at dinner. I had a lobster salad that was fabulous. Lots of lobster cooked perfectly so it was tender and moist. My husband had the tagliatella with crab which is sublime (we'd tried that before at dinner). The service is impeccable and friendly and any of the rooms are lovely. It is pricey, but worth the cost."

"We had to laugh when my guest and I debated whether the tagatelle with crab dinner portion was going to be so large vs. the appetizer portion, that we would share it--fat chance. Portions here are very small. The food however is delicious. I ordered the lobster and asparagus which was outstanding. We were not happy with the radish app because it's perplexing how a tiny, tasteless radish dipped in unsalted butter and flash frozen is a culinary delight--they had no flavor and the small pile of salt on the side was useless because it didnt stick to the frozen butter. Dessert portions were HUGE in comparison and absolutely, delicious! I think NoMad definitely has their priorities straight---dessert is the most important course of a meal :)"

"The Nomad was our first dining experience in NYC and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is in an atrium area on the ground level of a French/Italian inspired decor hotel which is stunning in itself. When you arrive it is very busy but the waiting staff still give you the just attention and time. The food is delicious and in generous portions and the service is smart. The Chicken is a must! As well as the 2L Brooklyn beer jug!
We will be back soon."
