"We had a 6:15 reservation, yet we didn't actually finish until 9:45pm and often went 30 minutes before seeing our waiter. When he did come, he was distracted with other duties and interruptions. Clearly, too few servers.
The food was okay but expected more from such a prestgious restauranter as owner of Harbour Sixty also."

"The waiter was very diligent - never an empty water glass, always checking on satisfaction. Actually replaced a main course which was not to our taste with another main course at no charge. Very aware of time left to attend show presentation on King Street"

"On making the reservation, I had mentioned this was a special birthday event and also mentioned this to the server - no observation from staff was made. Food although great, portion size small and expensive. I would not recommend this restaurant. The Keg would have been a better choice and has far better service, portion size for the price and ambiance. The do observe special occasions and service is far superior. I travelled from Aurora to this restaurant and was disappointed!"

"We had a large group for a birthday celebration. Our waiter took very good care of us. The steaks and the lobster ravioli were great. I have to say that my favourite was the octopus salad - olives, capers and nice big chunks of octopus - so delicious! All the

"This was our first visit to Michael's and will not be our last. The Seared Yellowfin Tuna was done to perfection but the Foie Gras was not done just right. When we mentioned this to the waiter, the chef sent out a portion that was just the way it should be. The waiter was great, attentive but did not rush us, answered every question we had on the food, wine and was knowledgeable on everything on the menu. We did find it a big loud, but the group behind us was having a good time, which added to the excitment of evening."

"This restaurant was recommended by a good friend of ours. Although, the wait was over an hour, we enjoyed cocktails by the vibrant bar area, with great music. Once seated, the waiter was extremely professional. Our food was spectacular! If you are looking for a great steak, this is the place to check out. After finishing up, we were pleased to be introduced to one of the owners, who joined us in a complimentary shot for our wait time. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!"

"Michael's is terrific. You should give it a try. We liked:
- The steak cooked rare was the best my friend had had outside of France. That is saying something coming from a a foodie.
- The homemade pasta - tagliolini in cream with zucchini that had been nearly crisped was delicious.
- Service was attentive but not overbearing. Toronto needs more service like that.

We arrived early for our reservation, but they provided a table immediately, and the phenomenal service began from the moment that we arrived.
The combinations of tastes that the chef utilized was awesome, and the presentation was enticing.
Our server, Dana, was beyond perfect in all aspects, offering tips and suggestions throughout the dinner.
Michael, himself, frequented all the tables throughout the restaurant and genuinely cared about everything constantly.
Definitely a highly recommended spot and will absolutely be on the return reservation list in the very near future."

"Ordered a white and a red wine. White was room temp so put in ice and got V&T as was expecting apps to be 20 mins as told by server. Apps arrived within 5 mins. Finally got white wine as we were finishing apps. Mains arrived approx 2mins later. Having a bottle of red still to drink after our mains were finished we thought we'd have a cheese plate. We were brought and charged for 2. No bread or crackers came with the cheese to start with. Everything seemed to be too rushed and uncoordinated. Ambiance is just what we were lokoing for but I won't be going back any time soon."
