"I had never been to the Omni hotel before and had found the Grand Cafe through a Google search. The food and the service was outstanding!! I can not say enough great things about this restaurant. It was a special Mother's Day brunch and every mother received a little crown, a long stemmed rose and a cupcake. The food was spectacular and our waitress was warm, friendly and very helpful. Thank you, Grand Cafe, for making Mother's Day extra special!!"

"We went because of the Easter reviews. Found the brunch to be average at best, limited selection, lukewarm and not at all special. At $50.00 per head, they need to do better.
Typical hotel food."

"It's a typical hotel restaurant. Not too fancy or chic. But the service was very nice and the food is good. I expected a quiet lunch and that's what I got."

"We were going to a 4pm opera at the Music Center in downtown LA on Easter Sunday, so needed someplace for a late brunch within walking distance. I thought of the Grand Cafe (in the Omni Hotel), where I'd had many pleasant weekday lunches (I worked nearby). I've always enjoyed the varied menu, relatively affordable pricing, and quiet environment, so I made our reservations. Arrival was fine, and the wait staff was friendly and helpful (particularly when they helped to fix our wobbly table). I realized, however, that they were only serving a buffet, which wasn't really what we wanted. However, we decided to enjoy it anyway, since we were already there. It was tasty, but cost $50 per person!!!! Shocked."

"The staff was courteous and efficient. They "bent over backwards" to ensure that me and my party were comfortable. We partaked of the daily buffet which was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a delicious meal at a reasonable price. If the weather permits would highly recommend eating on the patio."
