"We went to the Mother's Day brunch and I don't think they do a brunch very often because they were very underprepared and brought out these small pans of food that were gone after 5 or 6 people. Many things were empty and people were waiting on food. They weren't ready for the big crowd, nor was the buffet ready to go on time. The server was very nice but we hardly saw her and I mosly drank cold coffee. The food was good and I'd be willing to try something off the menu but I wouldn't go back for a buffet. It was $22 and NOT WORTH it. If I had paid $12 for it, I would have still felt like it was too much for what they had out."

"This cozy and attractive neighborhood restaurant is attached to an indoor hockey rink. The adjoining bar (separated by glass) attracts hockey fans and parents of practicing kids. The restaurant beyond has a beautiful fireplace and warm furnishings. There is also a large room for groups that is lovely - not the usual sterile group setting. Food shows imagination and is delicious from the simple tater tots to gourmet quality sandwiches and omelets. Have not tried dinner yet. The special Easter brunch was delicious and reasonably priced. This is a great place to bring a family or a group of friends."

"We went on Friday night, and I am glad we made reservations. Fireside is very busy and there's probably a good reason why. The food is very good, and somewhat unexpected considering Rosemount is far out in the burbs and isn't necessarily a city that comes to mind for good restaurants. Our server was great too. He interacted with our kids and was attentive. Finally, I'm kind of floored by the prices, in a good way. The prices are so reasonable, especially for how good and fresh the food is. Firseside is doing something right."

"Not being from the area I didn't know when I made the reservations that Fireside was connected to an ice rink, but it didn't matter. A very cozy establishment.
We were a group of 8 and were seated in the back room which was perfect. It was quiet enough for good conversation, a comfortable temperature, our server was friendly and didn't rush us, and everyone enjoyed their food. The butternut squash ravioli was delicious but the plate looked a bit sparse, while the lasagna was more than one could eat.
All in all, very enjoyable. Would definitely return!"
