"We booked our evening for 7pm on OpenTable. We were welcomed by several St Regis staff as we entered.
Location-this is located in the St Regis with a nice ocean view. We were seated at a window table,perfect for us.
Ambience-this was very nice and quiet with a scattering of people.
Meal-Black Truffle Pizza, a must have. My wife ordered Yellowfin Tuna Tartare for her meal and it was delicious. The Soy Glazed Wagyu Short Ribs cut like butter. Also the Asparagus & Lemon Gratin was very good. The Warm Chocolate Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream was a solid selection. Lychee Martini had a distinctive yet pleasing taste.
Service-stellar as one would expect from St Regis. The waiter and each of the servers were exceptional. Polite yet not too pretentious."

"The only relationship this restaurant has with the famous chef Jean-Georges is the name itself. Salt and butter play heavily on the food in the menu. It lacks creativity. Service is polite but sluggish. The music was a bit too loud. Had to raise my own voice to speak and hear my partner at a table to two. Disappointing."

"We arrived at the restaurant for a 6:30 reservation ( we were told the restaurant was fully committed for a later reservation even though we sat for over two hours before most tables were accupied) and were seated in a very uncomfortable booth. We requested to be moved to a regular table for four and our waiter had the manager move us. Once we were situated at our new table the manager approached us and tells us that we need to finish dining by 9:00 pm because this table was reserved. So, if we are planning on ordering dessert we will be moved again. This is a fine dinning restaurant? The service was terrible, our waiter barely spoke English, the management was snobby and rude. The food was nothing special, completely ordinary."

"This was my 4th visit to J&G. The restaurant was crowded, very noisy. My wife ordered the lobster and I ordered the Filet. Our food was cold, her lobter was over done. When we called the magr. he gave us excuses not convincing us. Finally they re-did the lobster, by that time our sides were cold and my steak very cold.
We conplained and they took it off our bill.
Was not a pleasant visit to say the least. I was very dissappointed.

"As alwyas everything was good but as they assigned us a table next to the window with 2 chairs I asked and additional chair to put my handgag which it's handheld bag so I needed a chair for the bag and jackets and the disrespectful men who refused to bring the chair, he was NOT the waiter, he was in a suit, he brought a magnetic hook to hold my bag under the table. As I always asked for a chair at j&G and they are nice and don't have any problem, I told him to bring the chair as I asked.. you know what the ignorant told me if Chanel was not strong enough because I said the leather will get marks, I had to explained what we all know... real skin from animals get scratch and marks easily than plastic, google that ignorant! "Celebrated a belated Valentines dinner with my wife at J&G Grill. Ambiance was terrific for a romantic dinner. Huge windows offered an awesome view of the Atlantic, and the moon. The red snapper w/ nut and seed crust was presented beautifully, and was very tasty! My wife had the sea scallops, also awesome!
Can't tell you how exhausted, and downright frustrated we are with the attitude, and shoddy service all too often found with the SoBe/Miami restaurant scene. Fear not! The staff at J&G was extremely friendly, pleasant, and helpful, offering suggestions on the menu and wine list. Just when I had lost faith in a pleasant night out in South Florida, J&G made for a fun, romantic, and enjoyable evening. We'll be back!"

"Our reservation was made many weeks in advance. Had several conversations regarding a request for a table near a wall. Was seated in the middle of the room. When mentioned to hostess, there was a "so what" attitude. I know every request cannot be accommodated but at least the request should be addressed with the patrons. There was no reason other than lack of concern/attention to not have my request satisfied."

"A very nice and cosy restaurant on Bal Harbour. Inside the wonderful St. Regis Hotel is a good choice for a good meal. Not a classic grill concept with huge steaks but a refined restaurant. The wine list is carefully made! Nice!"

"We went to celebrate my mother's birthday, and were sadly very underwhelmed by the food. We ordered the scallops and the red snapper, with a side of brussels sprouts. Although the food was not bad, it was by no means notable or memorable in any way. For dessert, we had a chocolate cake and the pear dessert. Again, they weren't bad, but it was very average. The meal was definitely not worth the price. We were looking forward to a enjoying excellent cuisine to celebrate my mother's birthday, but we walked away very disappointed."
