"In the emortal words of Tony the Tiger. There are plenty of places in town and I reluctantly give Madusa's a fantastic review only because I'm afraid of it getting too popular... so much that we will have trouble finding a table in the future. "Chef Greg is consistently awesome. We dine there at least 1-2 times per month. The ability to watch him cook (there's a camera positioned over the stove) brings drama into the dining room. Hip spot - the place attracts tons of foodies - locals and those up from Chicago - who know they will get a delicious meal. A Lake Geneva must-do."

"We had a fabulous dinner here a few nights ago. We were seated immediately and our server was very attentive. We enjoyed the flaming saganaki appetizer - (we asked for pita to go with it). We shared a fresh and tasty Greek salad and I had the special lobster and salmon entree while my husband allowed the chef to select a combo plate for him. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! We will go back again and again!!"

"Medusa is one of our favorite restaurants in the Lake Geneva area. My wife and I absulutely love this restaurant. Chef Greg does a fabulous job in preparing all the entree's. The grilled Calamari is to die for...they are the size of your thumb!
My favorite is Chef Greg's "Special" (Chef's Choice) where you allow Greg to select your meal.
I order that every time and have never been disappointed. I'm exceited about and look forward to taking my wife's mom & dad there as they are Greek and i know they will love Medusa.
I highly recommend Medusa. ..ps the sampling assortment of many falvors of Gelato is our favoite dessert and a great way to end your meal."

"Awhile back we tried and loved the skordella (sp) appetizer. It has pita bread and veggies along with a unique, spectacular dip. Now we order it every visit. It sounds mundane, but believe me it is great. Jill's chicken breast and shrimp entre was outstanding as usual. I had the halibut and scallop special which was also very good. The halibut was not quite up to the one I make at home, which is purchased from Empire Fish Market on Watertown Plank road, but was good. We ordered a white burgundy from Gregs' list which was excellent and paired well with both our meals. Finally, we shared a scoop of a delicious chocolate gelato. All in all an excellent meal."

"An excellent little hole in the wall in downtown Lake Geneva.
My fiancee had the Mediteranian ribs, which were fall off the bone tender, I don't think she had to use a knife at all.
I had the Shrimp Diavola, which was a delicious, but a shade spicy for my tastes, but that was my fault though, I ordered it moderately spicy instead of mild."

"We have been there before, and I would definitely stick to the regular menu. My husband got a steak that was too charred and my pork chop was good but tough. We had to go early because we couldn't get a table later. While we were there a good majority of the tables were open until well after 8:20. In the end we were actually asked to leave to fill another reservation! We have been to some of the best restaurants in the country and have never been asked to leave for another reservation!"

"The food was very good. Three of us has the seafood chef special which was blackened salmon (too charred on the outside and I like blackened food), They made the wrong order for one of us but didn't charge us the higher price but we weren't give the choice and it wasn't what was ordered. The ambience is where the restaurant fell really short. Paying attention to just a couple of details would have improved it. Two examples- the table has old fashioned brown vinyl table cloths.Made the place look cheap. The butter for the entree was served in a plastic cup. Really? How expensive is it to invest in some 50 cent glass bowls. When one pays $40 an entree, $12 or a cosmo, etc. a little more class is expected even for a retro motif place."

"I have been to Medusa's now 4 times and the food does not disappoint. You must make a reservation, because it gets crowded. It is a very small restaurant, and not all the tables are ideally located. Our party of 3 was right next to the front door, which makes it chilly every time someone comes in and or out. The food is worth a visit. Chef Greg makes the best soups!!! Try it no matter what it is!"

"2nd time there and I still can't get over the fact of a modest exterior opens to a rather nicely appointed dining room and a chef/owner that looks like he could wrestle in the WWE, but thankfully plied his talents to the culinary arts. As far as food is concerned, the Chef's Choice is a cakewalk, why fret over what to order when it all sounds so good, order the Chef's Choice and have a smidge of everything wonderful! I might add, never pass up the carpaccio either, you get plenty of food without an appetizer, but why pass up a good thing, right? Being a food nerd, the grill cam is a pretty cool touch too."

"By far THE best restaurant in Lake Geneva!!! From the buzzing energy when you walk in the doors, to the friendly, attentive staff, and of course the magnificent food. Our go to choices are the goat cheese and roasted red pepper saganaki for a starter, the Sicilian filet is a must for me for my entree, and you can't forget the homemade gelato. "Once again, another great dining experience. We have dined at Medusa more than a few times and each and every time we have received the same level of high quality food and service. From apps to main course and oh my the desserts! The food is exceptional and the service, always top notch. The servers are very well informed of how dishes are prepared and we have never been steered wrong with their wine pairing suggestions."

"Place is a tiny gem. The meal (lobster and grilled salmon) I had may have been the best restaurant entree I've ever had. The creme brulee is perfect and worth a visit all by itself."

"We arrived about ten minutes earlier than our reservation time and the restaurant was packed, and unbelievably we were instantly seated at our table. Service was excellent, friendly and fast. Our waiter was very helpful, my wife knew what she wanted but I had questions. After narrowing my selections and taking our waiters advice my wife and I had one of the most enjoyable meals that we can remember. The food was excellent and the dining experience was great.Thanks MEDUSA job well done. P.S. We had the Sicilian Filet and the Lamb chop special."
