La Bota is nestled in the West Village. Here our focus is on serving Tapas which are smaller portions of Spaniard Cuisine. This is designed to encourage conversation during and throughout your visit. Step into a little piece of Spain on the lower West Side with La Bota.
"I love sangria and paella so I've probably had it everywhere I've seen and it on the menu. Sangria was very watered down/ iced down but wasn't bad for the first unadulterated pour. Paella was overcooked and it looked like the meat/shellfish was out of a can and had been thrown on top of the rice after the rice was cooked. It was also quite bland. Service was extremely slow and forgot multiple drink orders.
Skip this place if you're coming for the paella. The tapas we got were unremarkable but not terrible. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but unfortunately I wouldn't risk how much I paid to give them a second shot."

"They had such an assortment of traditional Spanish tapas, which were all so delicious. We suggested that the waiter select favorite tapas and he did an excellent job!"

"Patatas Bravas is a must have, and the bacon-wrapped figs are also delicious. We were told the sangria was a highlight, and though I didn't have any, everyone else at the table did; they all said it was great, and polished off a pitcher + 2 additional glasses. There were 6 of us at La Bota for a birthday dinner. It had come highly recommended, and we were not disappointed. The server was both friendly and attentive, despite being the only server for all of the tables. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic. We weren't sure exactly how much to order, but our server helped and was accurate. Considering the drinks, I thought the price was very reasonable. If you're wandering around the West Village hungry, I would suggest trying La Bot"

"La Bota is a cozy and quaint tapas and wine bar. Very cute, dimly lite with excellent tapas and drinks. Neighborhood gem, good for groups. Has a back patio that is open to air in the summer, and in winter it is closed off. Would definately recommend."

"Great birthday celebration with excellent tapas and sangria at La Bota. Was really perfect from start to finish. Was here previously and the staff and kitchen built on a very good experience with an even better one."
