"A perfect spot for friends that had never been to Brooklyn. Everything was perfect except the veggie entree that fell a little flat. Our server was incredible--efficient, fun, interesting. We'll be back soon."

"We were absolutely thrilled with our brunch! The food was positively delicious (salmon/brussell sprout hash was amazing & the vegetable sandwich was very tasty); there are so many great items on the menu and we had a difficult time choosing what to order. I wasn't a huge fan of the dessert (chocolate cake and guava cheesecake), but my husband enjoyed them. We will definitely be back."

"Very good food. One downside is that they only take American Express, and it's not inexpensive, so go with cash if you don't ave Amex. The food is very good, though."

"The food here is surprising in it's simplicity. Truffle ketchup (who knew?), perfectly fried calamari and yummy salad that makes you forget you're eating healthy. Very nice mid-upscale feeling without the stuffiness which means you can bring your kids. My only complaint was that my waitress had no idea about wine with her reasoning being that she "doesn't drink." It was a weird, awkward response. I wanted something along the lines of a hearty zinfandel; she gave me a taste of what she thought might be comparable. By "taste," it was literally the amount of backwash and it was more like a 2012 Beaujolais than anything resembling a zinfandel. That said, that was annoying but hardly a deal-breaker. This is definitely on our re-visit list."

"I only blame myself for not personally calling the restaurant to ask if the noise level made it suitable for a business meeting. It was a bit noisy, but it was not unbearable. Despite my request for a quiet table, the host at first tried to seat us in the front near the door. I commend her for quickly accommodating my request for a quiet table, which was very nicely situated. All in all service was good, food was good, for a neighborhood restaurannt. I will come back if in the neighborhood--I did so enjoy my salmon hash--but not for business meeting
I would add a "good for business meals" option above."

"We love Watty & Meg. The food is consistently delicious and creative, and they always have interesting specials. The wait staff is excellent, professional but at the same time friendly and willing and able to help in choosing the right wine to complement a dinner. It is our special date night place, but we have brought the kids there on occasion, and that works too. I highly recommend Watty & Meg. (Don't miss the quinuoa/kale/avacado appetizer; sounds virtuous but tastes like a splurge!)"
