"We made a reservation for Captain Briens on a Saturday night. There was not any notification that outdoor seating would be the only tables available. There is a comedy show inside. Fortunately, the weather was good but I really didn't want to be outside.
Our server was very nice but seemed to be overworked. She always said that she would be right back but it normally took 10 or more minutes for her to reappear. The menu has a variety of seafood choices and the prices are reasonable for the area. Our food was good but not great. I'd try it again but not on Saturday."

"We had a great time here. I cannot find good seafood just anywhere, the server recommended a few dishes and i picked the grouper, usually grouper is not as fresh as i may want it to be but boy was this grouper fresh. I got it blackened and my boyfriend got it coconut style. holy cow what a great dish. Definitely recommend checking this place out!"

"We came in yesterday for dinner and we liked it so much, that we are bringing some friends back this weeekend for the show. The server we had was so sweet, and so prompt. It took us a while to order because they have a gigantic selection of seafood! The way they decorated the entire place is really cool too! Unlike any other place ive seen. I loved it, can't wait to go back"

"Captain Brien's was a great find for my family and I. They have an extensive drink menu and the food was better than I expected. It has a spacious inside and ample outdoor dining space. Our waiter was not only incredibly polite and diligent but also adorable. I feel like our food took less than 10 minutes to come out and that included 3 entrees. There is a stage in there as well as it doubles as a comedy club. The hostess told me some pretty big names come here. I'll definitely be coming back to see a show soon-it's only about 30 min from Naples. Anyway, everyone should come here when on Marco! It's awesome!"

"We stopped by for lunch and although the inside decor looked pretty neat, we decided to sit outside because of the beautiful weather. Very nice waitress with knowledge of the menu. We started with two dozen blue point oysters, and I really could of just had raw seafood for lunch, they were so good! I got the gulf coast chop salad with shrimp, and I'd go back for it again. My husband got the grouper sandwich and was very happy. We had a table of 6 and everyone left happy, which is always a rare but good occurrence. we will definitely be back next time we spend the day in Marco"

"Our visit to Captain Brien's was a mixed bag. Sitting on the outdoor patio for a cool early April evening dinner on Marco Island was enjoyable. Our waitress provided very good service, being both polite and paying just enough attention to the needs of our table. What was lacking was the overall quality of the food; it was fair at best. We had three items from the menu and none were memorable. While we may give Captain Brien's another shot when we return to Marco, it'll be because of the fact that you can make a reservation and enjoy an outdoor table, not because of the food."

"Dreadful food. Cheap ingredients, v small portions of the fresh fish, badly cooked, overpriced. Not one happy diner from our party of 8. V expensive. $400 for 2 families no desserts and only 3 starters. Really don't go it's terrible."

"It was such a beautiful Florida day we decided to celebrate with a pina colada, decided to head to Capt. Briens. I've eaten there before but never gone there for just drinks. It definitely hit the spot. We could not pass up some guilty pleasure appetizers either of course, we had some onion rings and fried zucchini, both of which were delicious and crispy. Hoping to head back for a happy hour soon."

"Had so much fun at this place! It has always been at the top of our list to eat so we decided to give a comedy show a try. Great idea on our part, we got to see the funny Bryan Callen while we ate our awesome food. The servers did such a great job especially considering the amount of people and the show going on in the process of their work. We were pleasantly surprised and will go back for another show and another great date night out."

"Went there for a Drew Carey show, crowded in to tables like cattle. Food was good, service not so much, it was almost impossible for the servers to get in between the long tables that were set up. Dont expect your own table if you go there for a show. You will be seated with 12 to 20 others."

"The restaurant is right across from our hotel. Could have walked except that it was raining and because of the rain we couldn't enjoy the outdoor seating. I had twin lobster tails. They were succulent and delicious. Husband had a mixed seafood plate that he thoroughly enjoyed. Service was attentive and friendly. We would go back."
