"We were seated immediately. The soft chairs seat you too low for the table making it very uncomfortable for dining. Although with booster cushions you are seated at the right height for the table, it makes it hard to sit down without sliding the cushion(s) out from under you. Highly recommend replacing the chairs. Our waiter was exceptional as were the host staff. So many choices on the buffet made it hard to decide what to have - a nice problem to have since the food was excellent. Maybe a little on the pricy side until you see what is on the buffet. This was our second time to Ivy at the Glenn. Now we have to try dinner. We will be back, and will recommend Ivy to friends and family. Thanks for an enoyable Mother's Day brunch!"

"Mother's Day 2013 dinner, 5:30 reservation. Let's start with the good. The appetizers, calamari and fresh burrata cheese were good. Entrees were good but not excellent. I had the rib-eye that was prepared to my liking but seemed under-seasoned. Asparagus and potatoes that accompanied the rib-eye were ok. Service though really lacked. Appeared as though their brunch which ended shortly after we arrived took it's toll on the wait staff. Many of them were seen preparing plates of leftover brunch food to eat while they were working. We waited time and time again for staff to attend to our table. Mind you, there were several empty tables around us. They certainly were not slammed my any stretch of the imagination."

"We had a later reservation (after 2:00 p.m.) and the buffet was a vestage of what it appeared to had been earlier. The crew seemed exhausted and was struggling to keep up the pace. I expect the same quality and selection later in the day as at the beginning. John, our waitperson, was excellent."

"Scott, our waiter, made Ivy our new favorite restaurant long before we even got served our meal! He made us feel special,
GREAT service!! Then, the food was ridiculously phenomenal, along with the extremely reasonable prices!

Not only did he make it fun for us, but my wife's mother and our grandson were also delighted by the attention to each person's needs. To top it off, the owner came out introduced himself, spent some time at the table and even outdid Scott's "sprinkles on the ice cream cone for our grandson, by giving him a little plate so he could keep dipping his cone into sprinkles. Now that was one happy little guy!

"Took a chance here on a rare date night. We were sat at a table that I felt was too close to the next table, but they were paying as we sat, so it was either well timed or a great coincidence. Their wine list is interactive as they use an iPad so you can read about the wines, see points, etc... It was a neat concept, but made a usually easy decision a little distracting, they do have a nice selection, though. The food and service were excellent. I dined on a spring rack of lamb dish while my husband had the petite sirloin. Both were equally delicious. The wait staff was as pleasant as they were unintrusive. The ambiance was nice with the right amount of noise, not too loud, but not whisper quiet. We will go back to this restaurant."

"We went to Ivy for Easter Brunch, and it was one of the best brunches I've experienced. Brunch buffets are tough for even the best restaurants, and Ivy really delivered. The seafood offerings really made the modest price a great value. The owner and staff were extremely attentive. We are looking forward to going back to try dinner."

"The Ivy at the Glen was a great find! SEasonal menu with seasonal specials gives a great variety and keeps the selection "new". The ambiance is great for conversation, celebration or romance! The fireplace adds the element of coziness and there is outdoor dining available when weather permits! All of our meals were perfectly cooked. We loved the tree stump wall and tables! "We went to the Ivy at the Glenn during Denver's Restaurant Week. We had not been there before, and it was hard to find. The address was not on the road for which the restaurant was listed! It was in a shopping area, and for people who had not even been in the area before (in daylight), it was hard to find. After finding the restaurant, we were quickly seated - near the door where it was too cold. So, we requested to be moved, and were moved farther into the dining room immediately.
The appetizers were great - (mushroom strudel and mini beef Wellington) as were the entrees we chose - lamb chops and alfredo del mar.
The salads were just run-of-the-mill.
We will probably go back to this restaurant during a regular week."

"The mushrooms wrapped in phyllo appetizer and the banana foster dessert were worth trip in themselves! Our waiter and hostess were very cordial. Ladies' room worth a visit to see. The restaurant decor is unique and warm, with fresh flowers at every table. We had a lovely night. My wish would be that the waiter could have directed us a bit more. We ordered mozzerella and tomatoe appetizer, but tomatoes were out of season, and we ordered chocolate moose which was bitter chocolate, and I was expecting a sweeter chocolate, so a person would only enjoy it if she liked bitter chocolate! If we had ordered better, the whole meal would have been quite wonderful. The chefs were nice to watch in the background in the open kitchen."

"Our 5280 experience was nice. The food was good and there were lots of choices. The waiter was friendly and offered good food recommendations (I wouldn't follow his wine recommendation if I had it to do over again, but that was my choice). The place wasn't horribly crowded or chaotic and the bananas foster was a really nice touch. It seems there are two choices with RW -- up-sell, over-reserve and hope people perceive a "bargain" or provide a pleasant evening with some special touches and hope people return. We will return to Ivy."

"Went for the 5280 menu which was one of the most varied menus we've seen during 5280 week. The duck was very good but the pork loin was "just ok" - underseasoned and a little dry. Everything else was very good including the appetizers, dessert, ambiance and service."

"Food was good for 5280, service was pretty bad. Our waitress got confused a lot and brought us the wrong thing. Then had to sort things out due to the math of the 5280 menu. 5280 was a good deal here though, Manager was great and checked in on us twice. Restaurant seemed pretty hectic!"

"I took my daughter to Ivy at the Glenn for a 5280 dinner on a Friday night. The place was packed. We chose from an outstanding selection of entrees, appetizers, salads, soups and desserts. I was most appreciative of this, since many of the 5280 restaurants now keep manu choices to a minimum. I had the lamb chops and my daughter had the beef wellington. My lamb was excellent--cooked perfectly, beautiful presentation. We split a bananas foster dessert that was prepared tableside. Our waiter was quite knowledgeable about wines and gave us great menu recommendations. The food was superb! The service was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place!!"

"The service was pretty good. Our server was very nice. The one thing we didn't like about the service was our dinner came out right after we were served our appetizers. We couldn't relax and enjoy our appetizers because we didn't want our entrees to get cold. There were several people in our party that did not like their food. They said it had no flavor or wasn't cooked to their liking (even when they sent it back). The ambiance is nice and because we were in a private room it wasn't too noisy so we could have a conversation. I did put 'I would recommend' because I think this restaurant deserves another chance."

"Superb service from our waiter Jeff. He was friendly, appropriately attentive, and efficient. Each course was delivered timely and perfectly spaced. The number of entree's for Restaurant Week was more than we've seen at other restaurants. Each dish that we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. I especially loved the tomato bisque, and my husband joked that he wished he could have four more lamb kabob appetizers. This was our first time at this restaurant, and we plan to go back soon."

"We went to Ivy on the Glenn during Denver Restaurant Week. As a result they were very busy, and that may contribute to the small issues I had. First - the Restaurant Week menu was very generous - most places offer a dish or two, but Ivy had a large selection.
I started with French Onion soup. It had obviously been sitting for a while, as it came lukewarm, and the bread had absorbed most of the broth. But it very tasty, I will try it again later. My entree of prime rib was excellent, and the mashed potatoes and veggies were also very good. My wife had salmon (maple mustard) that she enjoyed. Dessert for both of us was chocolate mousse, which was fluffy and delicious.
Service was a bit slow, but given the crowd, to be expected."

"The food was decent the service is terrible. We arrived 4 minutes late for our reservatio and the hostess made a rude comment and was not going to seat us (not a great start to our night!). Several times during the meal as we were lifting the fork to take a bite the waitstaff reached accross us to fill the water glass. Lastly, we arrived home (25 minutes away) to discover the waiter did not return our credit card. We drove back to the restaurant and were greeted with the comment "oh yeah he forgot to give you your credit card back". I was not happy since it was nearly 11pm so I asked to speak to the owner. His response after I explained our experience that night was to say "sorry about that" and turn and walk away. We wont return."
