"I had been to this restaurant before but I had to convince my husband to give it a try. In the past I have enjoyed their "small plates" style menu which is eclectic but good. While it was "mud season" (off season to non-locals) the menu was a bit llimited in the offerings. Still with a non-beef and pork eating couple, we still managed to find some lovely dishes that did not disappoint. The portions are small, however, I enjoy ordering a variety of dishes so I can get a larger sampling of what a restaurant has to offer. The dishes were very nicely presented and tasty. I also enjoyed my cocktail which was a concoction of honey, rum and lemon juice but served in too small a glass (2 - 3 good sips and it was gone). So I ordered a second!"

"This was recommended to us by a local. We enjoyed a 5 course chef's choice for 2 which consisted of various small plate food groups. Everything was delicious, and our waiter explained all of the courses very well. This was an unusual dining experience, but one that will be remembered for a long time. Highly recommend this place."

"Everything was outstanding...the menu changes seasonally and we had the lox, brussel sprout hash, roasted beet salad, brisket philly and gorgonzola cheesecake. We were told "small plates" designed to share and there was more than enough food. The drink menu is outstanding! Try the Fiery Margarita or the Kentucky Fall - both excellent! The wine list is extensive but we didn't even look at it because the cocktails were so delicious. The historical ambiance is perfect!!! We will be back!"

"We went to Laundry with a group of 10 people and had a great time! Our server was very helpful in choosing enough, but not too many items to share, as this is a restaurant where the plates are for sharing, usually about 2-4 tastings per plate. As we moved along through our meal, a few members of our party were getting full, so we were able to cancel one of the main courses, two plates, without any problems. He had great knowledge of the menu, and of the history of the building, which was originally a Laundry in the early 1900's and again in the 1970's. The food was delicious, a lot of different items, cheeses, charcuterie, vegetables, salads, and meats. A wonderful night, would definitely go again and recommend to anyone!"

"Food was good. Try the shrimp. However Laundry needs to use less oil, butter, grease when cooking and allow the flavors to permeate. Overall the drinks were great, loved the rosemary lemon drop. They just need to hold the butter and oil to moderation. Cool decorations with all the old laundry items, washboards, irons, detergent jug lamps!"

"We have been regularly visiting Steamboat Springs, Colorado, for twenty years. Laundry was without a doubt the best restaurant we have been to in a town with some pretty good restaurants. Every single dish was extremely well executed and very tasty. Creative use of ingredients and great presentation, along with excellent service, put Laundry at the top of the list for people who enjoy great food. We can't wait to return!"

"Visited recently with my daughter - the owners are local restaurateurs, who own four other restaurants in the area, that are also very good
We started with the Salmon Jar - it was very hearty and more than enough for two people
For dinner, we tried the Rock Pow Wow (very spicy) and the Osso Bucco - both were very good, and the portions are large. We had a side of the Hen of the woods and the Hash - again, both were excellent
This is a very unique place for Steamboat (or anywhere) - really enjoyed it - the portions are large, so while it is small plates, beware ordering too many! Also, many of the foods are spicy, but the server will help with how hot they are etc..

"Wonderful! I was visiting Steamboat for the weekend and found Laundry on Yelp. I'm so glad I tried it - the meal was outstanding and the cocktails were superb. I would recommend this restaurant highly to anyone."

"We visited Laundry twice during our ski week in Steamboat Springs. The food and drinks were quite good, the staff pleasant and - the bartenders -knowledgeable. One dish was dry and was cordially removed from our check without our asking. We did encounter the same problem on both occasions and heard the same complaint from other tables: most dishes arrived lukewarm. The menu is rather small and changes daily. Three "small plates" between the two of us were quite enough. We had a dessert anyway."

"Went with my girlfriends while we were on a ski trip getaway and we had an fabulous time. Everyone thought it was a highlight of our trip. Cozy atmosphere and just a really fun concept of sharing a bunch of different dishes with one another. A little hard to wrap your head around the concept at first but once the courses start coming, everyone was really into it. Food was awesome. We especially liked the smoked lamb tasso ham, the fresh cheeses, the hummus jar, the brussel sprout hash, the frisee salad, and the star we thought was the Lamb Osso Bucco (AMAZING!). It was a party in our mouths! Thanks for a great experience!"

"The food was very good. We had a new server who was very nice but still learning the ropes. The appetizer cheese and meats were great but they came with the same kind of toasted flat bread and it was repetitive- they should offer different options.The cocktails were amazing!
