"Beer of the night is half price, and the food is generous - what else does a guy want!? As for girls, if you come on a night that it's busy, you know there'll be a lot of guys, since - did I mention - the beer is half price and the food is generous!"

"Noise level during Friday afterwork time was a little too high for my wife and, but we were seated near the bar. The vodka martinis were OK (could have been colder) but the beer cocktails were outstanding!"

"The place is loud. Too loud. Obnoxiously loud. Impossible to have a conversation, whether you're having food or just meeting for drinks. Don't bother."

"Too bad we were there during our lunch break since we would have enjoyed more of the beer, but the food was great! Super fresh and my cobb salad was delicious. Only disappointment was that they were out of Manhattan clam chowder which I was craving, but all in all, I definitely would be back. Great lunch special, and they have a beer table with a self draft server. Fun for a group."

"This was our first experience with The New York Beer Company. No complaints. Food was very good - normal bar type food. There were many options to choose from on the menu. Wait staff was wonderful. Manager (I think it was the manager) seemed really nice and asked us if we needed anything. I would eat here again."

"My 25-year-old nephew and his bride-to-be loved The New York Beer Company. I had been hoping for something just a tad higher-end, e.g., suggestions for beer pairings with an elevated bar menu, but all in all it was fun, probably because my companions were so happy."

"Typical after work drink bar location; Stock Market Beer is there but we didn't try it. Solid happy hour prices, decent list of beers on tap and solid (but otherwise unremarkable) bar food."

"I chose NYBC on the basis of its proximity to the area theaters (we had tickets to a show three blocks away) and its reputation for many beer offerings. We had seating by the front window of the restaurant which didn't have much of a view but plenty of people-watching opportunities. It wasn't crowded when I arrived first and was prompted seated even before my reservation time. It was the first day of March Madness and the noise level was energetic during our time there. We took advantage of the $5 happy-hour beer offers. Sydney was our server and was the best part of our dining experience: friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. NYBC offers a fixed-price dinner menu which was a nice value because the offered entrees on the regular menu cost as"

"Heard about this through "AmazonLocalDeals" and the location appeared to be good. My friend and I went there with low expectayions and were really surprised with our visit! The menu was affordable and varied. Better than that: the food was GREAT! I had a Cobb Salad and it was DELICIOUS and plentiful! My friend had the burger and fries and she said it was really good. Our waiters were attentive and the service was quick and professional. Why didn't we know about the New York Beer Company before? We have told as many people as we could about our great find! "10 entrees for $10" is an amazing deal! We will definitely dine there again."

"If you want a place for a quick meal and a craft beer, look no further! The food is good and it's an easy place to relax. They also have a full bar if beer isn't your thing."

"Bad wait service, a place that was noisier than expected (yes, even for a "bar" atmosphere - it was more than half empty when we were there early evening but still loud) and food that was actually pretty good but no better than that...in a word, average."

"We had come because we were lured in by the stock market pricing of the beers. While that was neat and the beer list was impressive, the food left much to be desired. We both ordered burgers, mine with caesar salad and his with fries. The caesar and fries were good, but nothing special. The burgers were a little dry even though they were not overcooked. I had the southwest burger and he had the burger that was designated as a top 5 burger in NYC. Not sure who picked them as a top 5, but it's hard to believe the burger he had would receive that designation."

"Ordered entree of fish & chips. Received a pile of fries with three battered dip strips, one of which contained no fish at all. Eventually received a couple more pieces of fish but quite put off by the experience. Excellent selection of brews, however."

"New York beer company was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing. Our waitress Jenny was incredible: she was very attentive, went out of her way to get us a bday candle. New York beer company is nicely decorated many TV's, great music, they even had the beer stock market on one of the tv screens."

"This was the first time I was attending; I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a big fan of beer so the name alone made me happy. I should state that the reason I checked off scenic view is because of the neighborhood its in; you're within walking distance of Times Square which is great. The food was awesome & everyone I was with was happy with their choices. I had the 'maxed out burger' and boy was I satisfied. I enjoyed the 'beer flights' & a few other choices. The screens playing games of local teams was a plus. I would definitely go back (great for groups)."

"We went to this restaurant before going to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre. The four of us all had appetizers and main course dinners. Not a single bite was bad. Everything tasted great. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up coming back after the show to get our desserts, since we didn't have time for any the first time!"

"I was visiting New York for the day and chose The NYBC to meet some local relatives and friends. It was a great chose! The staff was very attentive, curteous, and the food came out super fast. The drinks were fun and the food was good. I ordered the turkey burger witch was just a little under seasoned but very good none the less. We ordered hot wings for appetizers and they were spot on. There was a live DJ spinning above the bar witch was a cool treat. Overall this is a spot that I will be gladly going to on my next visit to the city."
