"Service was ok at best. Had to ask the server several times(4) for things like water, wine list and pepper. He was arrogantly disinterested. Our reservation was for 8:00 we didn't sit down until 9:00. The food was quite good so go there but beware that the kitchen staff outshines the wait staff by leaps and bounds."

"Very impressed with Metro. Highly recommended for that time to indulge with your date. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was stellar, we had a main waiter and as other employees walked by your table they would promptly clear any plates immediately. A+"

"Before going to Metro, I had read several reviews about receiving bad service. This was not the case on my visit. All of the wait staff were very friendly and attentive, not to mention that the food was excellent! The calamari had a unique twist with a teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds and the braised lamb shank with horse radish mashed potatoes was amazing. The portions were also very generous (so much so that I couldn't finish it all!) Even though I have to drive 45 minutes away, I will certainly visit Metro again."

"The food was not good! It was over cooked, over salted and over priced!! The restaurant and bar are only separated by a low wall, so the bar noise interferes with dinner conversation. There are too many good restaurants in down town Roanoke to waste time here."
