"came to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. good selection of wine and diverse entreee options. prices a little high for a casual environment. the tropical element of Bahama Breeze is gone but much appears the same. service was very good; attentive but did ot rush you at all. excellent dessert options so try not to fill up on main courses"

"This was our first time at this restaurant and we enjoyed it very much. Unusual takes on some old favorites. The filet trio with 3 different sauces was excellent as was the sea bass with the crispy coating. Didn't care much for the greens - too bitter - but the fingerling potatoes were nice. Draft beer selection was kind of narrow. Would have appreciated some milder choices that didn't overpower the food. Owner came around and visited which was much appreciated and seldom seen these days."

"Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The mushroom soup was outstanding. Our entree's were very large portions. The pork medallions were very large and juicy. One note: there was no bread offered. We found that odd!"

"On Mother's day, my mother asked to go to that great place we had gone a couple of months before when her sister was in town. She was looking forward to the steak trio and I really wanted the scallops so, when we saw it was brunch only we felt disappointed, HOWEVER, it was all excellent! Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was kind and helpful. Highly recommended! We all enjoy eating here and my 13 and 10 year old boys ask to go there often-they have a taste for good food!"

"Edgewild is fantastic all the way around. Incredible food, excellent wine list, outstanding service. It's not a place I could afford to dine at regularly, but for a special occasion this is our new favorite place."

"It was nice with one exception - My wife and I dressed "business casual" for a nice dinner out and the servers were all wearing shorts and jeans. This brought the ambience from very nice to OK."

"The food was just so so. We had the mussel's and they are the smallest that I have ever seen. The Santa Fe Stack was to have lump crab on top the corn cake was just sparsely spread shredded crab. Scallops were OK, only 3 on a plate for the price not a good deal."

"Service was fine but I expect a winery to actually talk about the wine. Our server offered no information or suggestions from the wine list and didn't talk about the winery. Offered no information about the menu, special, etc. The food was okay and the ambience was good but could have been a much better experience with a better server."

"I loved the Pinot Gris (excellent) I bought a bottle to serve with sea bass for our anniversary the following day. I met two friends to celebrate a birthday and we all had salads. (Thai with steak, Napa with shrimp and Spinach with salmon) You could smell the seafood before it hit the table both the shrimp and salmon were very fishy tasting. We all loved the fig dressing on Napa salad. We will all try Edgewild again but will order our salads with chicken and will definitely order the Pinot Gris again. The dessert was a wonderful chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. It was warm, gooey and absolutely delicious!!!!"

"Title says it all. Food was excellent. Try the pistachio encrusted goat cheese appetizer and the half baked cookie with salted caramel dessert. Both are incredible. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was rather loud. This was our second visit and both times we had a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend."

"I heard about this place from a co-worker. I invited my brother and his wife to join my wife and I. We had a great time. We all orderedsomething different from the menu and everything was great. I enjoyed the seabass."

"It was a good dinner but thought for the money we spent it was more than deserved. The noise level where we were was pretty loud. The waiter was having hard time hearing us and we sometimes had to talk louder than usual just at our table. The meat loaf was really good and my wife thought the side salad was larger than the average (and good priced).
On the wine menu you can do a flight and it says there is an up charge for reserved wine and specialty wines. On the specialty it does say there is a $1.50 up charge. The menu doesn't list which are on that list. I believe the server said anything over $9 was considered specialty even thought it does not indicate it. He also said the $1.50 was per sample not for all of them."

"One of my new favorites! The menu is interesting and varied, and I've tried many of the menu and have NEVER been disappointed. The Tenderloin Trio and the Chardonnay Chicken are my favorites. The half-baked chocolate cookie with salted carmel ice cream is WONDERFUL! I'm rarely there when one of the owners doesn't stop by the table to say hello. I went with a gorup of 4 friends, none of whom had ever been to Edgewild. It was a HUGE hit!"

"While it was very loud, the food and service was impeccable. We were dining with friends we had not seen in a very long time and the staff was patient and accommodating as we chatted and caught up. We loved the food and appreciate that they let us stay late to catch up!!"

"My wife and I came here for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I personally found the food to be average/a little above average, the wine was good, and the music was too loud. I'm guessing that the music level was chosen assuming there would be more people at the restaurant; when we got there, it was past dinner hour and the restaurant was relatively empty. Management should have adjusted the music volume accordingly.
The waiter was friendly and attentive. He noticed that we were there to celebrate something and inquired what it was. He then offered to comp two desserts, which we gladly accepted!
I give the entire experience an "average" rating, mostly due to the food quality and music volume."

"The restaurant looks lodge like it isq a. Vacation spot. I like the different rooms to eat. Service was great in the beginning g but we got forgotten when a big party came in right after we were served our dinner. We sat for at least a 1/2 hour and eventually had to ask for the check. But that was the only downfall. I would definitely go back. The food was great."

"Noise was so bad you couldn't talk to the person setting next to you. Setting small parties to large groups makes no sense. They need to do something about the seating or fix the noise. Will probably not suggest to friends unless the don't mine the noise."

"We have been to Edgewild a few times now and have not been disappointed. We made a reservation and asked for a reservation in a quiet spot so one of our older diners who is hard of hearing would be able to participate in our conversations, and we were nicely accommodated. The wine, beer, and cocktail selection is really nice. The owner came by and checked on us, too. A nice place to sit at the bar or have an anniversary dinner or just meet with friends. Good food and attentive wait staff."

"My wife and went to EdgeWild for a special occasion because we had not been there before. We loved the facility completely, and our waiter was outstanding. We tried a couple of their beef entries. They were average at best - not something that you could say to friends - wow, the been offerings there were outstanding and you must go. I think we would say that it was average, so go to enjoy the wine and the service, but don't expect the beef items to be outstanding."

"My husband and I each loved our dinners (shrimp and scallops linguine, smoked crab chowder, steak and crab). Brian, our waiter/manager helped us choose our wine by bringing generous samples. What we finally chose from several excellent possibilities was marvelous. After dinner we went outside to finish our wine, take in the live music, and enjoy the fire pit patio. We felt like we were on a small vacation, right here in chesterfield."

"Restaurant was almost empty, and we're first taken to the small table by the kitchen, so asked to be moved. Had to ask waitress for the specials. Food was ok, no sauce, celery or carrots come with the chicken wings, the grilled Cesar salad was soaked in dressing, and could barely find the romaine lettuce. Their Spring Break special of a bottle of wine with two entrees resulted in a enforced 18% gratuity on the meal and on the 'free' bottle of wine. Spoke with the manager, who really didn't understand that we were objecting to paying a gratuity on something that was free. She eventually took off the gratuity. We have had better experiences just stopping in and sitting at the bar having a drink and appetizer."

"The service was awful from when we walked in (hostesses looked at us with blank stares, barely spoke, stared at the computer screen) until after about the first 30 minutes at our table. It took the first 15 minutes for our server to even come to the table and another 10 minutes for the wine to show up. The server then said she was sorry for the wait but they got "slammed" (it wasnt overly crowded when we got there at 7) and tried to get our entree orders without talking about the specials or seeing if we were interested in appetizers (we were). After asking if we could order appetizers instead of just going straight to entrees she seemed to settle down a little and things got better."

"Three of us went for the first time on a rainy night, 3/17/2013. Place was not crowded so we were seated immediately.
Waiter was very good - perfect mixture of attentiveness, humor, and not hovering.
We chose a bottle of the Edgewild-labelled Zinfandel. Very nice wine, aerated at table. We tasted before and after aeration.
I had a garden salad and pasta with vegetables and cheese. I appreciated that the salad was not smothered in cheese as too many restaurants will do. House "red grape vinaigrette" dressing, which was good. The entree was good, not exceptional.
Wife had burger, son had prime-rib sandwich, both with truffle fries.
Place has some pretensions, e.g.,haricot verts for green beans. $94 + tip."
