Mehndi takes traditional North Indian cuisine to a whole new level. The bi-level dining space has a distinctively clean fell to it. Adorned with twenty-three Fourtuny chandeliers, the restaurant’s jewel tones glow as diners enjoy their artfully presented meals. On weekends, Indian henna artists sit on the marble staircase and apply henna to guests as they wait for their traditional Punjabi and Mughlai fare. We offer a corporate buffet lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm Tuesday through Friday, and a lavish weekend lunch buffet from 12 Noon to 3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
"A great experience! I would definitely say dining is appropriate for couples, adults, and older children. This is creates the serene and warm ambiance. The food was well executed, flavorful, and timely. Service was attentive yet not over bearing, our waiter made some informative suggestions without insisting when those suggestion where not accepted. My only criticism is that when we requested that some of the dishes be prepared with a higher degree of "hotness" I think the chefs erred on caution since the intensity was not what I had requested (typically Indian restaurants tone done the spicy intensity of dishes for the American palate). While departing the owner/manager? provided a brief tour of the beautiful bar and the Ming II. Thanks!"

"Very nice space, very good service, but the food fell short. I don't know if they are trying to cater to what they think are American tastes, but the food is just flat, and a far cry from how interesting Indian food can be. Pappadums came with a fresh tomato "salsa" (can I call I that in an Indian restaurant?) which was a nice touch in addition to the standard tamarind and mint sauces, but it seemed a bit tired tasting. There was nothing really wrong with our three main course dishes (lamb, dal, and eggplant) but nothing really special about them, either. Nothing was worth going out of your way for."

"Delicious and vibrant dishes! Squid app paired well with one of the tandoori chicken apps. Server recommended a dish over one we selected and the recommendation was wonderful. It was our second visit and it was just as good as the first time. Family Friendly all the way to Romantic date night."

"Hostess was completely ignorant about Open Table and cancelled my reservation after I checked in and was unapologetic when I brought this to her attention. Fortunately, the food more than made up for this. We had numerous appetizers including the shrimp and yogurt which were shared amongst the table. The entree's were three diferent types of chicken, including the clay oven garlic chicken. With the sauces provided at the table the food could not have been more flavorful. This is excellent fine dining Indian cuisine."

"Everything about this restaurant evokes a passionate feeling: the food is definitely made with a lot of love, the servers are friendly and genuinely hope you are having a good time (perhaps a bit slower than i would want), and the place is decorated very delicately,"

"This is the third time we have been to Mehendi, but first time for Lunch Buffet. We were very happy with experience we had with dinner, but Lunch buffet spread was atrocious, very few items and most of them looked dried. This is not what we would expect from a high class restaurant like Mehendi."

"It was my first experience at Mehndi... and it was wonderful. The hostess was gracious, the server was polite, and the food was very good. I would definitely come back again and bring along some friends to experience Mehndi."

"The waiter offered to help with our selections, but then when specific questions were asked he didn't seem to know the answer. The dish he recommended was not at all like what we described to him that we wanted. The atmosphere is nice, but the prices are expensive for the quality of the food."

"Eight of us were at Mehndi for lunch -- the food was excellent as well as the service. Most of us had the buffet which enabled us to taste different entrees. Thank you."

"Mendhi has an interesting, varied menu from which just about everyone will find something that they like. We had a shrimp appetizer which was outstanding. The baby goat entree was very nice and we had a lentil dish which was delicious. Our server was patient and attentive. We were fortunate that it was a quiet evening so we had no problem carrying on a conversation. Tables appeared nicely spaced. It is a very attractive room. If you had to wait for a table, there is a very nice bar/lounge adjacent. I would not hesitate to go back."
