"This place was absolutley stunning. The view of the falls was perfect - so beautiful to look at and admire. The inside of the restaurant had a modern look and was perfectly designed to portray it was a classy restaurant but also to draw attention to the Niagara Falls view (the main feature).
The food was delicious and full of amazing flavours that I have never experienced before in fine dining. We enjoyed the mussels (best mussels we have ever eaten) and the goat cheese salad for starters - they were perfectly portioned. The entrees were also perfectly sized and were tasty - we had the duck pasta and the rib eye. Very delicious!
I would most certainly come back to this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion."

"When my toddler wouldn't stop eating the mushrooms in veal jus, had half of my wife's portion of fish, licking up all the carrot sauce of the vegetable dumplings, you can be sure this is THE jamie kennedy we are looking for.
My lamb shank is just as devine without being over salted.
It's not perfect as the scallops is complimented with sausages too hard to bite into and the portion a bit too little as a main, but otherwise this restaurant is worth a trip.."

"We have been following JK since the mid 70's. We were very happy to find that (even though its been about 4 yrs since our last JK experience) he is still providing a great culinary experience! Additionally, we were happy to enjoy a fabulous view of the Falls from our room at the Sheritan! This quicky trip was a re-visit to the location of our honeymoon weekend about 38 years ago...much nicer this time!"

"The view of the falls was amazing. The service was great, there was an extensive wine list but the food was good. The scallops were very good, the fries were also. I had the steak and it was average."

"I've got to say that this might have been one of if not the best overall dining experiences of my life. Walking in and seeing the spectacular view of both falls was a great way to start the night. Cocktails and appetizers were top notch and the food was amazing. Service was outstanding. I will say that it was fairly expensive but the portion sizes were huge and we certainly did not leave hungry. I would go back tomorrow if I could. You must eat here if you visit Niagara Falls."

"We enjoyed our dinner but as the evening progressed the noise level increased from the buffet area. I expected the menu to feature more unusual items. Lamb shank was good but very uninteresting."

"Amazing food! Thouroughly enjoyed the food Ambiance was not so great though. Restaurant should be more separate from cafeteria style hotel restaurant. Music was too loud and inappropriate for dining experience."

"Was expecting better! Salmon was over cooked and dry, Rib Eye steak, not the best cut, ordered medium rec'd well with a hint of pink in one area. Cheese plate, Boston Salad, Soup, and fresh bread excellent! Wine selection/pairing endless. Drinks well over priced."

"Had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The beauty was all around. The view was spectacular. The food was fantastic, and the server Laura was just delightful. She helped us pair our meal with a wonderful wine. We ended up going to find the winery where the wine was sold. Our overall experience was one of the best we have had. It was our year anniversary, and I thank-you for making it the best experience ever. I recommend this restaurant to all."

"An amazing farm to table experience. As it is winter, root vegetables were the star on many plates. The boston lettuce salad with shaved beets and carrots showcased vibrant colours and taste. The housemade pate served with celeriac 'slaw', cornichons, and pickled onions was outstanding. The special appetizer for the evening was two diver scallops and a lobster tail served over a creamy puree of salsify which we shared. It was so good, I'm still talking about it. A credit to the warm and friendly staff. The whole experience was truly wonderful. It made a special evening more special."

"We went for a romantic dinner and the fire alarm went off for about 10 minutes. It kind of ruined the ambience of the evening. We also were not told anything or given any direction and were not sure if we should be leaving for our safety. We understand that it was an accident, but for this caliber of restaurant an apology or an offer of free coffee or dessert would have been appropriate."

"Overall a decent meal and consistent with Toronto Life's rating. I was pleased with the Valentine's Day menu and, while not typically keen on Ontario wines, enjoyed the recommendation from the waiter for a Kacaba Cabernet Franc 2007.
A disappointment. My wife, who is 7 months pregnant, has severe heartburn and asked for a number of alterations to her salmon. While the sides came out nicely, the salmon was clearly over-cooked.
It is probably the nicest restaurant in Niagara Falls, though there doesn't seem to be much competition. I would consider returning in the future."

"An excellent late dinner dining experience. The prix fixe menu was excellent value and all courses lived up to your very good name. We enjoyed the soup and salad as well as mains; scallops and prime rib. How did you know that I liked my meat cooked to rare/med.rare? The willingness of our server to let us sample 2 to 3 wines at each course before ordering the final choice was amazing. Views of the Falls just added to a great dinner."

"Appetizers were very nice but it went downhill from there. Mains were just okay and part of my meal was served cold. Cornish hen barely had any meat - mostly bone. Sticky Toffee pudding tasted okay. Nothing great. His restaurant in Toronto was much much better."

"Very nice, if they only could've turned the heat on. Sitting beside the windows there was an extremely nice view but was even colder. Food was of good quality (I imagine) but a very specific menu with nothing at all that catered to my tastes - wife was happy though. Overall nice but certainly some tweaks needed. Very expensive, serving size adequate."

"I was traveling with my 3-year-old daughter and a cousin, and we wanted an indulgent adult dinner that would accommodate all 3 of us. The hostess and staff at Windows were welcoming and easygoing with our table, allowing us to craft the order and pace of our courses so that we were all kept happy. We saw Friday night fireworks beautifully from our window. My only surprise was the occasional stalls by our server, particularly at the end of our meal. We order a flourless chocolate cake after being told it would take 10-12 minutes to prepare, and it took 20 minutes to receive. Our server forget to bring the accompanying port, even after we'd had a long discussion about the port selection while waiting for the cake. He was as tired as we were!"
