Raw Bar at Hotel Arts features urban contemporary cuisine in a lounge-style setting. Chef Duncan Ly and his team display their talents at the chef-attended action station where Tuna Tataki and the Sous Vide entrees rain supreme.Their creativity is showcased each weekend with Chef Ly's multi-course Degustation Menus (tasting menus) with pairings (available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for dinner). Menus change weekly so please contact Raw Bar to learn what Chef Ly is preparing this week.
Raw Bar also has an extensive wine-by-the-glass program and an avant garde cocktail menu that is winning awards and fans everywhere.
In the warmer months, enjoy the Raw Bar menu as your relax poolside. Excellent food, unpretentious atmosphere & friendly service.

"Had an amazing pre concert dinner at Raw Bar and loved every minute of it. We sat on the patio around the pool and had a cocktail then moved inside for some tasting plates. The food was fantastic, amazing flavours. And the cocktails were an excellent pairing!! Thanks so much for a fabulous evening."

"As a raw foodiest the only thing raw here is the salad and sashimi. Would of thought there would be more vegitian dishes. What we did have was very tasty. The room is very spacious and the the music blended in well."

"We went to Raw Bar for the Dine Out Calgary 2013. It was a restaurant we've been wanting to try. The service was friendly, but nothing special; the food was good, but nothing to write home about; the ambiance was stark and bare, and wasn't 'warming' at all. They serve Asian-fusion food, but nothing we haven't seen or tried before."

"Was looking forward to a visit to the Raw Bar in Hotel Arts, because the last time I was there, the place was packed, and the food was amazing. I made a reservation for a Friday night, and was sorely disappointed to find the menu had changed. The place was absolutely empty, which should've been my first clue. The appetizers were lackluster, and the drinks were expensive. My fiance chose to order the steak, and I decided to try slow cooked short ribs. The meal was ok at best, and wasn't inexpensive. We will not be going back."

"We were beyond impressed with the food for the valentines day menu, it was probably one of the best meals I have ever had and would go back without a doubt. Unfortunately our server was less then impressive, he couldn't seem to remember what he serving us and one one occasion he had obviously went out on break and came back smelling strong of cigarettes. He seemed to forget that they had take home boxes at the end of the meal until he was reminded and once we payed the bill he proceeded to ask if we planned on hitting the McDonald's drive thru on the way home. Unfortunate such a mind blowing meal can be disrupted by something like service, from what we could tell the other servers were knowledgeable and friendly"

"Everyone loved the cozy decor from the wide red columns curved at the top to the tiny starlike lights in the ceiling. Appetizers (chicken tenders, mango roll, asparagus roll), cocktails, & desserts (4 sample sizes of each) were nicely presented & tasty. Angus burger was a bit dry & some of the garlic fries were hard. Calamari linguini was good but lacked pizzazz. Waiter was not well informed about the food or cocktail menu as couldn't answer our questions & didn't offer to ask in the kitchen or bar for us (though it wasn't busy at 9:30pm on Sat)."
