"Favorite place to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays while grandma enjoys watching the kids. We didn't get our favorite table but we had a great view out the large windows overlooking the river. The clouds started to build up and started to rain only to give way to the most spectacular rainbow which anyone near the large windows could see (many people got up to take pictures so that should say something). We love coming back as there is always something new (and the food/service is outstanding)."

"The food was very good; I was impressed with the Greek salad ! Every piece of vegetable was bite size allowing me to eat without using the knife. As an entrée I had the petit filet. However, petit it wasn't!!! I could only eat half of it. The meat was ever so tender and juicy; The béarnaise sauce was tasty without overpowering the meat. The best part of the evening was our server, Nick Bradford. He is such a charming man and ever so attentive! I truly appreciate him; he is GENUINELY sociable and attentive to details. I felt that he honestly cared about my experience at Ruth's Chris and not being a phony seeking a big tip."

"The steak tasted like steak a poivre, the fries were cold, the coffee was never replenished, the soup tasted like it came from a can. They comped us an upgrade to better desserts off the prix fixe menu but this was an expensive mistake that we will not revisit despite the waiter (Nick) who really was quite good and almost felt embarrassed by the kitchen's errors."

"We had Joe for our server and he was OUTSTANDING again. We also had Joe for Valentines day Last year and even with the Restaurant packed to capacity he made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant."

"This Restaurant is an absolute "5" out of "5" for OUTSTANDING! We have been to a number of Ruths' Chris' over the years and this is by far the best one. The one in Boston does not compare. Here is how/why...the service is impeccable and the management staff is nothing short of excellent. Jeff the GM and his entire team go above and beyond to make EVERY customer feel at home and welcome and the food is perfect every time. Our favorite Waiter is Joe Fortune we ask for him every time and he has been there since it opened. The team is outstanding which is a reflection of how they manage the restaurant."

"I was not happy with the service. At the time I placed a drink order I requested ice on the side. At the time the drink was poured I again requested the ice on the side, and my waiter told me he would bring it. He never did bring the ice, and he was not that busy. I found the noise from the bar to be a bit too loud. It is sad to see that too many people still do not think they need to dress to eat in what is supposed to be a 4 star restaurant. I also did not care to hear the wait-staff calling their patrons "you guys". Is this the way the world is going? We who feel it right to dress will be out of place in decent restaurants because everyone else feels the need to dress like they are going to a burger joint."

"We visited Ruth's Chris for a birthday celebration and had a wonderful time. They made it a special occasion, including a special dessert without making it an embarrassing moment. Food was delicious. I always get the lamb chops which they prepare special for me without salt, and our waiter recommended a special lemon-Ginger martini which was ideal! We will continue to frequent your restaurant!"

"Lamb chops so lean and cooked to perfection - delicious! So nice to be able to get mint jelly with the lamb. Filet also cooked to perfection. Side of sweet potato casserole a very nice spin on the sweet potato, and just the right portion for 2 to share."

"We are regulars, we have normally had nothing but outstanding service and food. Last Friday night we were very upset with our service. We brought friends who had never had the wonderful Ruth's Chris experience. Our waiter never asked if they had been there, never explained that the dishes were over 500 degrees. Not to mention he never checked the cooking of the food to make sure it was correct. I actually had to flag him down after he took the valet ticket to get a container to go. He also neglected to come back with drink refills and to see if we were enjoying our meal. I will specifically request a couple of our regular servers on our next visit!!!!"

"Ruth's Chris Providence continues to impress me with each visit. We switched our allegiance from Capital Grille a couple of years ago due to steadily declining service and an impressive experience at Ruth's Chris Providence.

The food is excellent and there is no better place to have an amazing meal outside when the weather permits. The service is impeccable, on the rare (1 time only) when there was an issue with the meal the response was extraordinary. I recommend Ruth's Chris Providence (and the Ponte Vedra Beach location) every chance I get. It's not often that you can walk into a busy restaurant and have your server greet you by name and recall your beverage of choice.... after a 5 month absence from that location."

"My companion and I share a birthday, so we chose to celebrate at Ruth's Chris in Providence. It was a great choice. Food was delicious, service was terrific, but the confetti on the table and the writing on the dessert plate shows that they pay attention to their customers and want them to feel special. "Delicious and well prepared steak. Too expensive but that is a general statement about all steak restaurants. There should be some healthy options like whole grains creatively cooked, lower fat sides (greens not drenched in oils) and fresh fruit with a lighter cream sauce. I got a berries and cream that was a half cup of cream with 4 berries. This would be a great compliment to an already overly rich splurge. Take the challenge IT WOULD HELP BUSINESS!!"
