"I was a little taken back when we first walked in. This Ruth's Chris had plenty of windows to let in natural lighting. I was used to the typical steak houses such as Flemings, Mortons, and Maistros that are very well decorated with natural wood and low lighting. This was a nice change of pace. Now for my food review. This was the best Rib Eye I have ever had. Wow. Cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was fanaminal. My wife had the Filet which melted in your mouth. The staff is very tentative your your needs. There is no waiting area other than the bar, but we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation. This will become one of our regular places. GOOD JOB!!!"

"Does not meet the Ruth Chris standard. Have gone to several Ruth Chris over the past year and this one was a fail. The service was horrible itv took forever to get refills . When the server brought the food out the forgot mine and then brought something different.than they had to remake the dish and no apology was offered. So far the southern California Anaheim Ruth chris is a fail. So far Walnut Creek and Roseville are the best."

"Went on the last day of OC restaurant week. Menu was delicious and incredibly affordable. They normally have two prix fix menus that are also relatively decent in pricing. They ran out of the NY strip we wanted but was super accomodating and supplemented the strip with their 12 oz ribeye. Steak was cooked perfect with an awesome crust on the outside but tender and full of flavor. We got mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for sides and the Ahi Tuna starter. Everything tasted wonderful! The sin cake for dessert was a little too rich and sweet for my taste buds but the cheesecake was delicious. Overall, a great restaurant and well worth the money!"

"Forced valet parking. Arrived early, hoping to put in some drink orders at happy hour prices. Although I appreciate a full service bar, I was not happy that the bar was FULL with patrons eating full meals and taking up all the space. On the luck that I did find a couple of chairs, our waitress did NOT give us the time of day, instead waiting on patrons who intended to order off the menu. Had to flag another waiter for service and missed happy hour. At least the food was delicious. But I wouldn't expect anything less from Ruth's Chris."

Seared ahi tuna appetizer was yummy, although I didn't care for the wasabi sauce so I easily scraped it off. Caesar salad was also very tasty. I'm not sure if I completely liked the steak--NY strip and filet. I had gone to Morton's the night before and prefered their filet."

"The filet with the blue cheese crust is delicious! Sides are great for sharing between 2 people. The cheesecake with berries was just the right amount for dessert. We were able to sit by the window in the corner and it made for a nice date because we weren't surrounded by people. Our server was nice and attentive and made good suggestions. We had a nice time and would come back."

"Disappointing!!! Maybe it was because we went during oc restaurant week and we had a late seating, but that's not really an excuse. The server looked miserable, spoke in a whisper, and looked like he couldn't have cared less. The ceasar salad appetizer and garlic mashed potatos was generic, the creamed spinach was salty and the steaks were overlooked. The seafood gumbo appetizer was the only great part of the meal. I'm very glad I came during restaurant week and only spent $40 a person."

"We enjoyed the ambience of the room and appreciated the lack of noise! The service by the team was attentive but not overbearing. The food was what we expected from a steak house, filet mignon cooked perfectly, served on a very hot plate. I did feel that the whole meal, steak, creamed spinach, mushrooms, bread was bland. We went with the offering for OC restaurant week so maybe if we'd ordered something that included a sauce we would have been more impressed. It was a good meal but pretty pricey for what we received."

"Reservations is a must. Great place to go and not be rushed to eat. The cocktails are Great! You can't go wrong with any choice you make. The seared Ahi Tuna and Spicy Lobster were great for starters. I had the 16 oz New York Strip and was perfectly cooked at medium rare. Others at may table had the Filet Mignon which looked just as savory. I had the Creamed Spinach, tasty. But, next time I will try the sauteed mushrooms, they looked delicious. For dessert Chocolate Sin Cake which was rich and delicious, if you like espresso, then this the cake for you. As a suggestion, on my next visit, I will be ordering a bottle of wine, rather than a glass. If it was suggested to me, I would have done so. Better value if you do so."

I finally had the time to try out Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! I've heard so many good things about this place and I can definitely understand why.
Parking: Valet and private lot (limited parking). I suggest just going with the valet.
Service: Top notch service from all of the staff. The host was Joshua who was very nice and suggested some dishes to us. Our waiter was Mike and his assistant was Enrique. They train their staff very well and I applaud them for that!

"I go to Anaheim every year for a trade show, and I make sure we get a reservation at Ruth's Chris. This particular one has a different decor than all the others. We have been told that it was built to be the new Flagship of the chain, but the recession precluded them remodeling others. It is gorgeous.
As always the food is incredible. I always get the Rib Eye. Suculent and tender, and cooked the way I like it. The shrimp in the coktail are huge and fresh and snap like carrots! All the food is wonderful, hot and fresh and full of flavor.
The service is without peer. Friendly waitstaff and host and hostesses. Always a good word and some conversation, but delivered with impeccable service.

"The rib-eye steak was a dissapointment. It came 10 minutes after the rest of my table was served. It was ordered medium rare and was not. It was cut thin and the taste was only a 7 out of 10. The rest of the tables meals (lamp chops and filet mignon) were 10's. It was crowded and noisy. For the price here there is not enough to bring me back."
