Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib every Friday and Saturday night. Morton's Prime Rib is double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. "Save your money,this place is way overrated. After visiting Morton's on a Saturday night, we were very disappointed. I previously made reservations and still had to wait ten minutes to be seated. The food was ok, but for the price it should have been excellent. Our waiter was pretentious and condescending. We won't be visiting this place anytime soon."

"My husband and I went in with high hopes on Valentine's Day after having dined at Ruth Cris on New Year's Eve. I am afraid we were disappointed. The staff at Morton's is very friendly and helpful. Their presentation of the menu was something new to us (showing the different cuts of meat under celophane wrap). My husband chose the $56 bone in filet, while I chose the less pricier single cut filet. We both ordered well done. However, my husband's filet came out intact cooked to perfection, while my single cut was butterflied, leaving it looking like a sad little piece of top sirloin. There was no great smell coming out of the kitchen, only an occasional whiff of unappetizing seafood. We will stick to Ruth Cris in the future."

"AS far as service is concerned, that is the best part of the evening. As far as the food in concerned, it is good but next to other restaraunts, not as spectacular as you would expect especially with the price tag associated with this venue. "The food was great as always, but the tables were too close together and this caused the waiter for the next table to bump my chair about 10 times. Food service was extemely slow, seated at 7:30 and no food until about 9:00. Table was located right along the path where other diners walked to get to their tables. "It's always a good idea to have a reservation, especially around a holiday, otherwise you are in for a long wait. We had a reservation so we had no problem getting seated.

"My dining experience was excellent.
The food was on par with the best I've had. My bone-in ribeye was succulent, tender and very flavorful. The filet was tasty and equally juicy but not quite as flavorful. The sides were great, but not spectacular. For appetizers, we had bacon wrapped scallops which were amazing - the best I've had.
The ambiance was fair, although it left a bit to be desired. We were seated in a booth, but everything just felt very visible. The restaurant isn't as dark as others I've been to which makes privacy a little hard to come by. The noise level was noticeable, though nothing that would disrupt a private conversation.
The service was great, as is to be expected. Everyone was friendly and very hospitable."

"I really thought that Morton's must be using magic cows, considering how fiscally "proud" they are of their steaks. I knew it would be expensive, but my wife and I don't drink, split one appetizer, one dessert, and shared two side-dishes. After a normal 18% tip, the bill was $190. While my wife's filet was good, it was not the best she's had, and the prime rib that I was hurried into getting (they only had 7 servings at 5:30pm) was fair at best. It definitely did NOT melt in my mouth and was excessively fatty.

Next time I want a steak, we'll just go back to Mr V's, where a better piece of prime rib runs me just over $20, and includes the sides.

"Morton's without question has one of the best services out there and the selection of meats and preparation is 2nd to none. This place is ideal for special occasions and simply for fine dining. It is on the more pricey side but you are not simply paying for the food but the extraordinary service as well. This particular Morton's was a bit noisy compared to the others I have been too and it was a full restaurant but so were the others I have been to and were not as noisy."

"We were extremely disappointed with Morton's in just about every way! The restaurant itself is dark, the tables for two are tiny, making dining very uncomfortable. The arrangement provides absolutely no privacy. Our waitress was absent most of the time. The food itself left a lot to be desired. It was no better than anything you would eat at some cheap cafeteria. The steaks were burnt and dry. The tab came out to $170 without wine!! Overall, it was a rip off! Shame on Morton's! We figured the restaurant has survived because their clientele is mostly unsuspected tourists. To all locals, we say, stay away!!"

"This was my second time at the Anaheim Morton's and had a very bad experience. The server demanded our attention when he was explaining the steaks and veggie options. I am of ethnic background, my mother-in-law is from the UK and could barely understand our server. My husband and I highly recommended Morton's to my mother-in-law but did not have a good experience.

Our server did not get my steak order right. I ordered a Rib Eye and her brought me a Filet Mignon. My mother-in=law ordered potatoe skins that were burnt on the edges. Morton's did comp my steak but I had two bites and couldn't eat anymore. My husband and mother-in-law were done 15 minutes before me.

I hope my next experience will be better."

Kelli was wonderful in explaining everything.
All the servers were helpful and attentive.
I loved that they helped each other in serving the customer..
Great meal but we wished we would have stayed at our table because we opted to wait for New Year's in the bar and the help handed out hats and champagne in the dining room. We were in the bar and I asked for a hat and they had none left nor champagne. Fine, my husband and I just did not want to be walking down the street at midnight and thought it would be fun to celebrate in the bar. Don't know if it was closed or what but it was certainly not welcoming, although in striking up a conversation with the bartender he was friendly. Just ready to home I guess."

"The food was top notch, as would be expected from a steakhouse with the reputation of Morton's. My father and I both had a Fillet Mignon - double sized (14 ounces of pure heaven), no less. We also tried the glazed asparagus and creamed spinach - both of which were amazing. About the only thing that might hold back the average customer was the $200 price tag for our meal. Mind you, we didn't even order wine or any alcoholic beverage. However, if you don't mind paying a premium for great steak, Morton's is highly recommended."

"I loved the personal touch when they greeted us by name and said happy birthday. The birthday greeting printed on the menu was a great momento. I'm a steak and potato kind of girl and it was awesome. The single cut filet mignon might sound small but it did not disappoint. From the first bite to the last, I very much enjoyed it. The baked potato was enough for two people. I'm not a veggie person, but you will want to try the grilled asparagus, it was very good. Save room for the hot chocolate cake. If you love chocolate you won't want to miss this, you can even share it between two people. I will definitely dine at Morton's again."
