"The service was excellent. Courteous wait staff and very attentive management. The problem with Cowtippers is the food does not taste good. Which was evident by my entire party leaving 75% of their meals on their plates. The meals ranged from lack of seasoning to over seasoning some items, The cooks are not very good."

"Service was very poor this time at Cowtippers, slow and waiter did not attempt to fulfill our dining needs. Food was thrown together and presentation was less than desirable. Our table would have ordered more beers but it took so long for the waiter to check on us that we finished our food before the second round of drinks arrived. The Manager needs to walk around and visit each table instead of hanging around the front check-in booth doing nothing. My suggestions for a more enjoyable visit - Make sure I have a drink within 3 minutes of being seated (or at least acknowledge the table as you go by), Check on my table frequently through dinner to make sure we have everything we need, be friendly and cordial, and smile."

"Menu is spotty in quality, but for the price it's a great value. Rib Eye just flat out rocks. Filet was dry and disappointing though. Baked potatoes are done exceptionally."

"Food was poor at best... waiter was very attentive and polite.. food poor and certainly not a destination for food enthusiasts.... A lot of frozen microwave stuff going on ..!!! Avoidable. Probably good for beers and chips sitting outside in the summer I suspect."

"Stopped by for lunch. Food was OK but felt like they would probably be better for dinner. We both had burgers, but I suspect steaks are their specialty. The staff could not have been nicer and really went out of their way to make us comfortable, offered good food suggestions and generally just came across really friendly and professional. The only complaint/suggestion I would have is that the music was WAY too loud (and not just 'cause I'm over 30!). It made talking almost impossible and the music choices were kind of strange for the type of atmosphere they present. The staff did turn it down but it still gave the impression of being in a nightclub more than being in a restaurant at lunch. We'll give it another try for dinner."

"I've never seen the old girl so crowded! There were some huge groups who were ahead of us, so I was a little worried about how attentive our server would be and how long our group of six would have to wait for drinks and food. But our server had all the help he needed and we were very well taken care of. At the end when he saw my partner opening the birthday cards we all brought, our server comped one of his drinks and wished him a very happy birthday. I thought was a nice and very classy touch."

"I order the rib steak med well. Told the waiter I did not want to see any red. It was the thinnest rib eye I have ever in eaten. I sent the steak back because it was red in the middle. The steak had NO taste. In fact, I used steak sauce which I never use on a steak. I told the waiter I was very disappointed about the steak; but I ate it because I was hungry. He did nothing to see if he could have made my experience better."

"My first time eating at Cowtipper's was underwhelming but they have converted me while heartedly in te past year, and it's now one of my favorite places! The Harvest Chicken Salad is fantastic. As is the hummus appetizer. I also love that they have cupcakes for dessert, and the service is great! Definitely check it out!"
